A Great Alternative Version of the Wizard of Oz!
This movie was a very entertaining piece of work. The basic plot is the same as the Wizard of Oz, but it is a musical, so each time the characters go down the yellow brick road, there are very catchy songs to go with it! Also, Dorothy is not a child but a kindergarten teacher in New York City who gets caught in a blizzard, rather than a tornado. There are also some interesting twists which I don't want to give away, but a few examples involve the reasons for the Scarecrow being caught up on the stick for so long, and a slightly different outcome with the Wizard which actually ends up being more empowering for the characters! I loved the ending in particular. I thought it was a very artistic remaking of this movie and it was a joy to see Michael Jackson's incredible talent being played out in this way. He was definitely the most expressive of all the characters! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I found a few parts of it dragged on, but overall I would really recommend this movie.

Mein Sohn schaut den Film rund um die Uhr an. Jacko hat eine neue Seite von ihm gezeigt. Die Welt hat viel verloren.

decevant, je m'attendais a mieux. vous pensez, mickael jacson . mais je trouve ce film bacle avec de tels acteurs j'esperais beaucoup mieyx.de plus le fait qu'il n'y ai pas de traduction francaise n'arrange rien. non decidement aucune poesie dans ce film, a trop vouloir moderniser l'histoire, on tue parfois le reve.
