Awesome. No words at all and the book tells the story very vividly. Worth for kids to help develop or improve observation skills and develop story stelling based on the age.

What a brilliant book! The illustrations are superb - every re-reading (and there have been many) reveals new details. The spreads are exquisite, the watercolouring makes the images so rich and evocative, you feel you're IN the page. My 2-and-a-half year old loves the story, he asks for it again and again, and this is one of those rare books that you're happy to oblige with.

This is such a good piece of work! Every artist should have one. It reminds the capability of us to escape within the walls and yet to have reached great lengths. What a wonderful book!

What makes this wordless picture book outstanding from other books of the same genre is the magical quality the awesome illustrations lend to it. This book will remind you of the endless possibilities of childhood and take you to a magical world where anything is possible. Five stars!

Love the book. But it doesn't feel original. Feels like it drew inspiration from 'Harold and the purple crayon', 'Dog loves drawing' and 'The Pencil'. But the ending is great and unpredictable. A must have book for all ages!

Content of book is quite subjective so it is hard to rate something like this. It seems to be geared to stoke the imaginative spirit of a child. Price still seems high so I would recommend this for the age range described provided price is a bit more reasonable (it often is in discount).

We got it for our daughter who is 3. She comes up with new story everyday based on picture, illustrations are so rich.Infact I love flipping through the book a lot as much as she does.

My toddler simply loves it !
