Piranha 21 Speed Rigid MTB

For a big box store it is slightly on the light side, which is good, but STILL like a heavy cheap bike. Easy to assemble and rides well. The rear brake is really week; I squeeze it all the way to the handlebar and it doesn't brake very strongly. I adjusted it as well as I could but it's still week. I took it to a bike shop and they adjusted it and it's STILL week. Good bike for the price -- one of those clunkers that will probably last over a decade at least, but not a performance bike, just good for riding around to work or through the city or over potholes etc. I bought it as a bike that I don't have to worry about being rough with or locking up outside since it's not so expensive.

Bought for my ten-year-old son, who was riding my 26-inch bike with the smaller frame. The size is great and the bike was easy to put together and rides good enough for him. The only negative is that My husband discovered that the front tire was put on backwards (it came that way). Not a big deal, he was easily able to fix it but could be a concern for others.

Easy to assemble. Wish the instructions were model specific (it has way more other model info. that confuses things. Reflectors were missing screws. Excellent value for the money.
