Chalk Supply Paint & Wax Brush - Medium - White Bristle (Large)

i'm a huge fan on annie sloan chalk paint, however, i'm not a huge fan of the $50 chalk paint brushes which i refuse to pay for. I checked online and this one had pretty good reviews so i took a chance. So glad i did! It worked beautifully with the paint and continues to do so. the bristles come off easily (so i had to take off the bristles from my painted cabinet pretty frequently) so thats why i took off 1 star. My neighbor has the crazy ridiculous expensive brush from annie sloan and we compared them, they look exactly the same! her handle is a little wider but that was about it. She also said her brush sheds the bristles often so i've convinced her to go the cheap route the next time. overall, i expect it to last me a while (i've already done 2 big projects and multiple small ones) and its going strong.

I think the brush is close to what you're suppose to use and it's considerably cheaper than other chalk paint brushes. My complaint is that it sheds. The first couple times it shed a ridiculous amount but even after several uses it still sheds. It does hold a lot of paint and leaves fewer brush marks than traditional brushes.

I ordered this brush to begin working with chalk paint. This brush works well with one exception; it kept losing bristles, and I would have to stop painting to remove them from the painted surface.

These brushes don't hold up very well bit other than that they work pretty good for chalk paint. For the price they are probably the best option out there.

I bought this as a less expensive alternative to an Annie Sloan brush. It has shed a few bristles but this has not been a big problem. I'm very happy with it.

Continues to shed after multiple uses, so it's important to be on the lookout for stray bristles.

I used this brush to paint and it was ok, some bristles came loose, but when I waxed with it, the bristles were all over the piece I was waxing. I would suggest buying a better brand or use a cloth instead.

Great brush. Does not shed and bristles are soft and thick . Works great!
