Long live the mouse
When I got this in the mail, it did not work-- but it turned out to be a problem with my XBox 360, and not with the controller. Unfortunately I didn't have access to another XBox to test it on, and had to engage SplitFish support. They were very helpful, and sent me a new dongle as part of the troubleshooting. After I got that was when my XBox finally stopped working. No video, controller not recognized (but also, NO "red ring of death").One "GPU reflow" service for my XBox later (at the video game shoppe where the rulers who give me a hard time in these games hang out), and everything works. Kudos to SplitFish support for their earnest assistance, nonetheless.I love it! I use it in COD MW3, works awesome. Also use it in Battlefield 3 ("BF3"), and the game doesn't want to go up as high in sensitivity, so you have to lift up the mouse more often to turn around, but it is still great. If I have one complaint about it, it concerns the mouse: the colored buttons are right where I am used to picking up the mouse-- but there is a little knurl under it forward of the buttons, so one just gets used to picking it up with more of the front of one's thumb, and/or moving your right thumb around the mouse more. Bigger mousing surface also helps IMO.I told all the people at work (geekdom HQ) about this great device. One guy believes it is cheating. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't....Basically, it takes my not-so-great extreme fine motor skills with my thumb out of the equation, and lets me play PC-style with my XBox 360 buddies (who have given up trying to keep up in the PC hardware arms race), without holding them back so much. Apologies to all the purists out there who believe XBox 360 skills should be the ultimate measure of how well you move your right thumb half a millimeter in any direction.

Garbage
Hardware was ok, mouse is completely awkward though. The input translation is totally inaccurate and useless. Moving the mouse in any direction creates a stair stepping line, like an etch-a-sketch would. Even moving straight up and down is a jagged run of 45 degree angles left and right. I tried making it work all night, but it's just more frustrating than its worth. Great concept, failed execution. If they could fix the movement algorithm I'd keep it, but that is a total deal breaker./\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\Illustration of "straight" movement down then right. The nunchaku portion was great, just the mouse that was terrible. On top of the movement being all wrong, the top mouse buttons are so stiff it actually began to hurt having to press that hard. Very disappointing.

Not bad :)
I got my FragFX today and have been using it to play MW3 because my right arm was crushed several years back and it makes me almost entirely unable to play with a controller so this made a huge improvement and I'm glad to say I can now play games again....BUT..Immediately out of the package the right mouse click did nothing (no click noise or feeling at all) after a few dozen taps on it this problem was solved and didnt occur again for several hours.. then I couldn't get it to unstick again without pulling up on the button, which I was EXTREMELY cautious about doing because I'm not sure how easy it is to break the button.. luckily that fixed it again but for almost and entire match my aim down sights was stuck on and I'm sure I looked like an idiot (or hacker) :(Another issue... the mouse click/crouch/knife in the center of the mouse requires a entirely unnecessary amount of force in order to operate... so much that I'm unable to do it with my right hand.. and not because of the disability.. my fiance can't get it to click any better than I can.. it makes the clickin noise with little to no effort at all.. but for the button to actually work in game it takes more force than is convenient for quick situations and more often than not the large amount of force still doesn't trigger the button to work.Overall I'm EXTREMELY satisfied with the product but if the issues persist I'll have to ask for an exchange or refund because the product seems well built I think the mouse I received was just faulty.. the nunchuck works perfectly though. If their is a way to resolve these issues please comment how you fixed them :( if I can get a working mouse than this product is perfect :) the complaints about the large size are understandle but it wasn't too hard to get used to it. The accuracy on MW3 is SPOT ON precise with the nunchuck switch set between 3 and 5 and sensitivity in game set at 10 :) the horizontal view seems a bit slower and more difficult to operate but it's nothing major at all. If Splitfish can get the design of some of it down a just a bit better without increasing their prices than XIM has some real competition :) especially considering how ridiculously overpriced XIM is -.-

Great replacement for Keyboard+mouse but...
I am one of those people who just cannot find the right key during gameplay, so a keyboard+mouse combo is just not on. I have been playing console games for years, but have been unable to play PC games for this reason. I bought the Splitfish as I thought it would allow me to do that. It works great as a controller replacement on the console as it makes you target tracking much quicker and more precise. With the addition of the CronusMax interface I can now also use it on my Xbox One.However.....(1) on the Xbox 360 it will occassionally lose connection - usually just as I am about to do battle, with the inevitable outcome. So far this hasn't happened once on the Xbox One.(2), when I try to use it on a PC, most of the buttons don't work, or register wrong. This is most odd, as the O/S does see it as a Microsoft xbox controller.Unfortunately the manual is useless and there seems to be no customer support for the Splitfish!!

At First It's Great..... Then you wake up
The Split Fish, at first, seems great. Finally something better than the XBox360 controller; especially if you have arthritis like myself and find the size of the official controller a little too big for your fingers. Unfortunately, after a few months of use the left mouse button stopped working. This first controller I bought from the original German website. I logged a complaint and waited for a reply. And waited. And waited. During the time I waited I bought a new Split Fish from Amazon because I couldn't wait. It's been a year now, and the people in Germany still haven't got back to me despite numerous emails, and by the way, the phone number doesn't work - no surprise there.Guess what???!!! The left mouse button, after 3 months use, has given up on me. The only game I've used it with is MW3. DO NOT, EVER, EVER, EVER buy this piece of rubbish!!!!I'll try to get it repaired through amazon but I don't think it'll happen because I unscrewed the mouse, breaking a few seals, to look inside to see what went wrong (I'm an electrical engineer by the way). The 'left click' switch attached to the pcb (printed circuit board) was 'tired'. 'Tired' way beyond its capabilities. My conclusion is that the mouse has not been tested correctly (particularly the left mouse switch, that is to say that 'it's life before redundancy' was incorrectly reported).DO NOT BUY THIS, £60 for 3 Months usage, that's £240 a year!!! For what?Great for a few months until you have buy it all over again..... DON'T BE A MUG!!!

Not worth the cash
Appalling customer support, Splitfish eventually told me because the way the Slim poweres USB ports that the Shark could disconnect, very briefly and it would interrupt gameplay, it was very rare for this to happen but annoying when it did, Amazon is processing my return, I got the Eagle Eye instead, and I'm finding it better for a lot of games. That was another thing wrong with this, the games it worked well with were Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3, one thing I found disappointing was that it worked poorly with Max Payne 3, the Eagle Eye works well.If you have a Slim and this doesn't happen to you you're lucky! I had 2 and they both did it, that's when I contacted Splitfish.

Frag fx review
Dont buy if you have small to average size hands, the mouse is way too big. Im having real problems with game play with this, if you could replace the mouse with a Logitech MX mouse then i would give it 5 stars for sure, but as is....well, i feel i have wasted my money and im too late to return it to Amazon.

BOOOM Magnificent
Brilliant for Black Ops 2. I wouldn't say it dramatically increased my KD but it increased accuracy accuracy and did increase the KD a bit. Don't think just get it. I thought for about 2 months, finally got it and it was by far best descision ever.N.B: YOU MUST MUST MUST PLAY WITH MAX SENSITIVITY ON BITH THE CONTROL AND IN GAME SETTINGS. So thats 0-1 on the dial on the joystick and 14 sensitivity in game.Boomm baby enjoy :)
