Absolutely superb value for money, you can't go wrong with this watch, really good in every way. Very good strap too. The only let-down was I bought another one a few days after the first & it was much cheaper than the first. Made me feel cheated.

Worth every penny

The watch is on the smaller side, as evident from the dial and case size, but it's one classy piece. I have got the beige model with beige band ('Desert Pilot'), and can't wait to swap out the strap with a brown croc leather one or a khaki/green fabric one. With a bit of mix and match it's a watch for (almost) all occasions. Clear case back is something which will compel you to take the watch off from time to time, just to look at the classic 7S26 movement.

Its an excellent watch. Keeps great time and looks good too! Has a nice heft to it and hugs your wrist beautifully. You have to put it on a different strap since the strap that the watch comes with is not exactly great. I bought mine for ₹- 9600. The price mentioned here is nothing but a robbery in the broad daylight!

This is superb value for money field watch. That is, it does it’s intended job and at around $100 I don’t have to be careful. This is my “everyday work” watch. It’s “waterproof”... sorry water resistant, but it gets rained on, I ware it showering & swimming... I don’t dive past 6 feet with it on. It is superbly accurate, way past the official spec. I set I once a week, when it’s out by about a minute... often less. It gets knocked about, I’m a courier, so I’m forever banging my hand & wrists against stuff... nothing has fazed it so far. I have had the blue model for a couple of years so I bought this sand coloured one for my wife. It’s small, so it’s good for kids, gals, & fellas wth smaller wrists... or any one who doesn’t want a sticky-out watch. There are some negatives, but they’re not deal breakers for me. It’s an outstanding watch on truly awful band... so I spent $15 on a NATO band, & changed it myself. Woohoo! It seems to need some time to “bed in”, ie the self winding mechanism, & accuracy improve dramatically after a couple of weeks. Oh well, I don’t care. Bottom line, if you sped under $200 on a mechanical watch, and it gets water in it, it disappoints you, gets run over, hit with a hammer.... you know the sort of thin, no biggie. If you just spent $10,000 on your dream Omega, or whatever floats you boat & any of the above happen, you’re in a whole different dimension of hurt & probably inventing, new, profane, & colourful cures.

I have been wearing this watch for just over a week and am extremely pleased with it. I did immediately replace the canvas strap with a leather strap and this is a necessary improvement. The watch has been keeping accurate time. The watch is very good looking...I purchased the beige face version and I find myself looking at it often. I had previously worn a larger dive watch and while this watch appeared small at first it now appears to my eyes to be a great size and is really the size of watch I used to wear. It is much more comfortable and practical everyday than the dive watch. Perhaps men's watch size trends have just become too large over the past few years. Only problem is now I want to purchase the black faced version - I'm enjoying the watch that much ! It's such a good price though a second version is definitely in order.

A 65 euros un reloj excelente siendo "Automatic"!!! esta claro que este mecanismo no es supernovedoso pero funciona excelente mi padre tiene aun la version antigua de 23 joyas que lleva funcionando ya 18 años y solo tuvo que reajustar la correa de acero una vez y hacer limpieza/engrasado de mecanismo en un taller autorizado y lo conserva por razones de buenos recuerdos. Y hablando de este reloj sabia que la caja es de tamaño medio, no lo que suele estar de moda hoy dia(relojes grandes) así que contento aparte para mi es un reloj perfecto para llevar en verano con polos de manga corta. Calendario es español/ingles así que perfecto en ese aspecto y acabados muy agradables tanto corre, el cierre y el reloj en si.Por su tamaño y color es cierto que se define unisex, pero opino que sigues siendo pareciéndose a modelos de reloj de hombre o cadete.

I'm a big fan of mechanical automatic watches, and the Seiko 5 line is an excellent introduction to mechanicals at a low price. One of my favorite Seiko 5 lines is the "Military" series (there are two lines, actually, this one with the "Flieger" style dial featuring minutes, and another line with the hour numbers primarily shown). This watch is not too large, unlike many watches nowadays. I have never had any Seiko automatic watch fail, except for one of these that I dropped from a height of about 8 feet onto a tile floor, which cracked the back and stopped the watch. This one is running well so far and it looks great. Other reviewers who complain about accuracy may not be familiar with mechanical watches. You should not expect a mechanical to have anything close to the accuracy of a quartz watch. If you gain or lose a minute every few days, that's pretty good for a mechanical, especially in this price range. The 7S26 movement is robust for its cost and many, many, many of these movements have been produced through the years. A mechanical movement such as this would ideally be serviced every 5 to 10 years (relubrication, etc.) but at this price range, I will just replace the whole watch in 5 to 10 years if it isn't running well. If you really want this to be more accurate, it is possible to adjust the watch after it's "broken in", although you should know what you're doing before you attempt that, or should take it to a knowledgable watch shop with someone who has expertise in Seikos specifically. But if what you are really looking for is accuracy, you probably don't want a mechanical watch, you want a quartz watch. Honestly, how many of us really need our watches to be accurate down to the second? Most Seiko 5s I've owned, when fully wound, will run for about 30 hours before stopping. Since I have about 16 watches, I rarely wear the same watch two days in a row, so my mechanicals have usually stopped when I pick them up. I don't mind, I actually enjoy interacting with the watches to restart them and reset them. A Seiko 5 will start if you shake it a few times, and if you're even moderately active, it will be fully wound in the course of a day. By the way, if you are not very familiar with Seiko, you should realize that this company makes a HUGE array of watches that are not marketed in the United States. Seiko makes very high-end mechanicals (such as the Grand Seiko series) that cost thousands of dollars and which easily compete with Rolex, Omega, etc. (I think some would say that a Grand Seiko is significantly better than a Rolex), tons of mid-range mechanicals that cost a few hundred dollars (and are still some of the best watches made), and a wide variety of inexpensive, but high-quality, mechanicals in the Seiko 5 and Diver lines. Their movements are made in-house (I prefer this to the mid- to high-range brands like TAG Heuer, etc., that use movements made by other companies) and Seiko has many years of experience with making everything that goes into the watch, right down to the lubricants that are used on the moving parts. Overall, this is an excellent choice, especially for the money. This is a much better watch (in terms of quality as well as appearance) than almost anything in this price range. Way better than a Timex, Casio, etc.--I don't think you can find a better $50-$60 watch than this.

Um relógio excelente, a pulseira em si é muito resistente, o fecho também, ele atualiza a data sozinho, não precisa de bateria, é bem leve e bonito. Meu pai amou e não tira do braço, a parte de "couro" da pulseira descascou mas já fazem 3 meses de muuuuito uso.
