Cambridge IGCSE Physics Explained: colour version

Brought for my daughter gave her confidence with physics

I thought this book had been carefully thought out - it seemed to me the reader doesn't have to do too much 'joining of the dots' - I don't know if you know the feeling, but with some educational texts it feels as though your brain is putting in extra effort to organise the information, but with this one it seemed to me that work was already done, and as such I would imagine a gift for a child with multiple GCSEs to revise for. Personally I also think it worth paying the extra for the colour version, as it makes for a more enjoyable read and may even help with the learning of it. I think in addition to people studying for the GCSE it would also be a good text book for the general reader of any age, certainly is for me.

A very thorough book with plenty of examples and top tips; easy to locate specific topics. My daughter has found this book to be her ‘go to’ rather than using the actual textbook from the school. You won’t regret buying it!

Over the past few years every physics book I’ve read filled me in with unnecessary information which wasted a lot of my time when I came to revising for exams however this is not the case with this book. This book has everything that you need for the exam and it’s simplified and easy to find. On top of that it also has a page on the back of the book where it has all of the formulas needed for the exam which is extremely beneficial.

I’m a IGCSE student and I purcashed this book in year 10, in all honesty it changed my perspective on physics as it was one of my least favorite subjects and I would get a B in it. After purchasing this book and realizing how informative it is and the exam tips and exam based questions it has is outstanding. 10/10 would recommend.P.s I read this book 30 minutes before my topic test and got 95%

The book made everything so much easier which is really great as i find many problems in physics . It helped me get a great grade in my mock exam and hopefully I’m my IGSCE soon . It summarizes all the topics and makes memorizing and understanding really easy

This is a great book for anyone who wants to get an A* in IGCSE physics. It goes over many exam techniques and questions that most textbooks don't even go through. It's easy to read and engaging throughout. I can't recomend this book enough.
