1st time owning a plasma cutter ..i chose this machine because of the amazon ratings & the youtube videos and was not disappointed ,easy to set up also very easy to use , unfortunately our home is fairly new and all the wiring is 15amp except for a 220 line in a pool shed . The machine made (1 )15amp cut on a 1/8 piece of flat bar then the circuit breaker kicked out ,after running a 30amp cord to the shed this thing ran flawlessly , i have a crappy tire 20gal air compressor that had no problem keeping up with the cutter, i messed around with it for about an hour chopping up various pieces of metal, i also have a 200amp 110/220 welder that also kicks out the breakers so its not an issue with this plasma cutter its the 15amp circuits , i think it would be find running on 20amps but 15amps just won't cut it , over all an excellent little machine

Let me start by saying I bought this with my.own money. About 20 years ago, I worked in a welding fabrication shop. They had a plasma cutter back then. It cost probably 10 to 20 times what this machine cost and it didn't work nearly as good as this bestarc. Technology has improved tremendously in 20 years. Obviously. I had no idea that such a quality machine could be bought for so little money nowadays. I am no longer a professional fabricator, an amateur at best nowadays. Even so, I was able to put this cutter together and start cutting in minutes. Just hook up the lines and power and air. I didn't even have to mess with the settings much. If it didn't cut I just turned up the air and amps and voila, it cut great. I bought this for one job of installing floor pans in an old jeep and I am really glad I did. It was literally like taking a magic pencil and drawing a cut line on the pan and it just falling out. It was much easier than any other method of cutting. It made trimming the new pan easy as well. If I needed a hole, forget the drill, I just started the arc up and plunged cut a hole. The floor pans where very thin, like 20 gauge so they were easy for this machine to cut. I tried some 1/4 inch plate and had great results as well with a 220v power supply. I wish I would have bought one of these years ago and gave my oxy-acetalyne torch away. This plasma cutter is better in every way as long as you have power. I love it, buy it, you won't regret it. Oh and I didn't even mess one tip up while using it on this job. That says a lot to it design and durability.

This plasma cutter is a true pilot arc machine, easy to set up, for Australian users, cut the American style power plug off and fit a 3 pin 15amp plug. first test on the thickness of steel that I use the most, cut through it like butter, clean cut, the Lincoln 210 struggled to cut 8mm plate, the BTC5000DP had no trouble. Am very happy with this plasma cutter, a shout out to Petes Tools, after viewing his channel, I bought my own Bestarc plasma cutter

They sure did choose the right name for this Plasma cutter ( BESTARC ) it really does stand out from the rest, I have been cutting with plasma for a while and was ready for a new machine and this is the one. I have not used better. Highly recommend.
