Wii Rock Band Special Edition

Without a doubt, one of the best video games ever made. Fantastic game and great experience. Anyone that has played "Guitar Hero" or "Karaoke Revolution" knows the epic levels of fun to be had with these kinds of games. Not only do you get to live the fantasy of vocalist or lead guitarist, but you get to do it alongside some well-known tunes, some of which might be favorites of your own! With "Rock Band", you take that to entirely new level by incorporating friends and family, in a co-operative way. For truly great gaming experiences, it is truly difficult to get better than this.Each person can take turns with a different instrument and when you get tired of the tracks on one version of the game, you simply load up another (or purchase them from the online store, if your console supports DLC).The only gripe I had with my purchase was that the drumsticks were missing. Otherwise, the order process went as smoothly as could be expected: quick delivery, good contact with the seller, product (nearly) as described (again, except for the one missing part, but that's okay; bongo-style seems to work like a charm). Should I desire any other "Rock Band" accoutrements, I would do repeat business with SOSS.We now return you to your regularly schedule rocking, already in progress.

The vendor did not send the a part that connects the wireless guitar to the USB ports so after banging my head against the proverbial wall trying to figure out what was wrong, why the guitar wasn't connecting and having to find various online post's on the subject at the rockband site I realized we had a missing part much to my liitle girls dissapointment. I informed the vendor and he claimed he remembred about the part before he received my email and was about to ship it. I always like to give people the benefit of the doubt but it sounded a little convenient to me so I'll let you the readers be the judge of that. He did however ship the missing "dongle" as its called and after another long wait I eventually received it and now everthing works fine so he did keep his word. This had been my only negative experience ever on Amazon and it really ended well as the vendor did send me the part after all but what bothers me is that I had to do the research and figure out what was wrong and had to wait again to receive part. I may hve never figured it out and may have had to buy a new guitar as its the only way to get another dongle.

As soon as Wii Rock Band arrived my daughter and friend had it unpacked and were rocking by the time I got home from work! Although it was too difficult for my 8 year old granddaughter and 5 year old grandson they had a great time watching and trying to play. Just be aware Wii Rock Band is not compatible with Guitar Hero. Guitar Hero uses its own disks and guitars, and cannot be used for Wii Rock Band. The only thing I would recommend is to purchase a second Rock Band guitar for the bass to complete "your band!" Wii Rock Band may not be as souped up as x box version, but it was overall user friendly and has provided many hours of rocking good fun. Would recommend.

My daughters absolutely love this game! Their friends call frequently, asking to come over and play. Suddenly, ours is the "cool" home (which is fine because it gives all of them a safe environment to play where they can be monitored by responsible parents!). As far as the game itself, I can see other developmental qualities... eye/ear/hand/timing coordination.

Gave as a gift to our grandson in another state for his birthday. When he tried to play it we found out that one of the four drums in the drum set does not work. Other components work great. Not happy since the drum was his favorite. For the price we paid it should have ALL been in working order.

The guitar did not work right, it skipped many notes. Left voice message but no response....

Received this wrapped in cellophane. When we opened we saw the attachment for the guitar to the Wii Set was not included. I wrote to Gamesfastt and told them and they said it was included. I have written to them a couple of times to no avail. The game is worthless to me for my grandson if I don't have this part. I have asked for a brand new one to be shipped and we will return this one or a simple part to be sent so we can use the one we have. I am still awaiting an answer to my questions.
