Creme De Pirouline Choc Hazelnut Cookies-32 oz

I love these. I still remember the day I met Creme de Pirouline – it was at Yogurtland. I got a cup full of yogurt with my girlfriend and wanted to add some add-on yummies. Then we found these good looking rolled wafers and decided to add them to the cup. They were amazing, especially with the yogurt. We had to ask the employee about the name of these wafers, and we got the name: Creme de Pirouline. It was the happiest moment ever. So I placed an order through my trustworthy Amazon and got them again. I was slightly disappointed because nearly all of the wafers had been crushed in transit, but I was thankful enough to be able to have them. They are amazing, even when they are crushed into a million pieces. Nevertheless, I won't try to order these through Amazon again because, to my disappointment again, the boxed version of Creme de Pirouline ( Pirouline Rolled Wafers, Chocolate Hazelnut, 3.25-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 12) ) also was delivered crushed. So, until the delivery problem is fixed, I will try to get them from somewhere else (perhaps through pirouline.com?), and I suggest that anyone who is willing to try/restock Creme de Pirouline do so too.

This is a very good product and am happy I bought these. There is a nice balance of chocolate and hazelnut in the creme inside of each rolled wafer, and the wafers have a nice crunch as well. I've only opened one bag inside the can, but that bag didn't have any broken wafers at all which did surprise me.I'm not sure why one reviewer suggested there's an odd mint taste, that I don't note and I do feel I have fairly acute taste buds. I'm not a smoker nor heavy drinker, and I'm not a "chili-hound" that dumps chile sauce on everything either. I do wonder if it's somewhat similar to how some people like cilantro, and others find cilantro to almost taste like soap, yet both may be tasting things fine. Maybe not the same gene that causes that, but something somewhat similar.

When I read the reviews I was aware of the possibilities of broken wafers but everything else I've ordered has been beyond reproach. So I chanced it but was disappointed with the poor quality of shipping. Perhaps with wrapping it in multiple layers of bubble wrap some of this could have been avoided. A for effort, but C for falling short.

I have purchased these cookies and this has been the worst I have seen them packaged. First one of the cans top was off and in the package. When I opened one of them, there were hardly any one cookie. They were all torn up and most of them were too small to eat because they would drop on the floor. I do not want this to happen again. I do think the smaller version tend to come in better shape.

Extremely sweet. So sweet that you don't really get a chocolate or a hazelnut taste - just a sweet taste. The upside to this is that you really don't want to eat more than one or two.

They are crunchy, they are munchy and they come in flavors. My husband has one every morning with his coffee. He can't decide whether he likes the hazelnut or the dark chocolate better. I tell him to take one of each. You will love them for a little snack and they look great in a fluted or long stemmed glass on the table, when having company over for coffee or iced tea and dessert. Try it you'll like it. We do.

Not sure if it arrived stale or got stale after I had it 2 months, but I was disappointed
