Koala

This book is illustrated by Julie Vivas. For decades Julie Vivas has been one of my very favorite illustrator of children's books and this book fits right in with her other work. The art is unique to the purpose of the book and wonders of the imagination. The book itself was in pristine condition. In short it is a treasure.The story line is about the life of a koala baby as he leaves his mother's pouch. Background factual material is included in small print which gives the reader a basis for discussing the book both the story and exploring what is true for a koala in the wild.
