It took a few tries to get it right, but once they were on correct everything was great. Definitely need to have a clean surface and adjust the arms to the curvatures of the car.. putting a little spit on it doesn't hurt either.

I like this rack a lot. It works well to carry my fly rods on a 2010 Honda Fit. They will not fit very well into the Fit assembled. Stuck 3 rods out the passenger side window then broke all three when I rolled the window up by mistake.About the rack: The suction cups hold real well if adjusted properly. They are a little tricky to adjust, follow the instructions, and there is no problem with them holding. They held my 3 rods securely at highway speeds my last 3 outings. They did not scratch mar the finish in any way when removed.I do have one complaint that is why only 4 stars. In hot weather the glue that holds the foam pads to the plastic got gummy and lifted off the rack. This is not a real problem with the rod secured down but without rods the foam came off. I am in the process of finding a glue that will hold the foam on better. Other than that this is a good solution to carrying assembled fly rods in a small car. I would recommend it.

I drive up and down the river chasing the birds and this rack makes it so easy and fast to load and drive.I can jump out along the river and havemy rod loaded.

Great product especially for aluminum body Ford trucks. Easy to put on and take off. Drove through strong rain and wind with no problems!
