Each of our practice locks are hand-pinned to supply the user with a challenging combination. Our practice locks are of the key-in-knob design (KIK), which is the type of lock cylinder most commonly found inside deadbolts and keyed entry locks. Tolerances are similar to those found in much higher priced cylinders. This item has a Kwikset keyway, generally chosen by most beginners as it is ideal for entry level practice. The practice lock can be rekeyed using standard rekeying tools and techniques. An absolutely ideal product for hobbyists or student locksmiths.
