Does it have a locking blade?

Yes, the main blade locks and the Victorinox logo is a button that releases the lock. Amazon currently has the pre-production artwork in their product catalog that does not show the release button. Our Webstores have the correct picture and I just submitted a request to Amazon to fix their photo. :-)

do any of the tools/blades lock in place?

Yes the knife does and you depress the shield (logo) on the side to unlock it. It is the only tool/blade that locks in place. This knife is pure quality and I love it for the sailboat. I have used it a lot more than I anticipated that I would. The knife is extremely sharp and cuts through lines in one pass-a must for safety. Bonus is the corkscrew on the knife at the ready to open a fine bottle of wine after a long days sail... Cheers...! -todd
