Ankarsrum Double Beater Complete Assembly

Broke the whisk beater on my ankarsrum on thick cookie. I haven’t made the recipe in over a year and forgot to switch from whisk to beater. My bad. I was delighted to find this replacement kit that includes a bowl and the full assembly for the whisk/beater. I thought the price was very reasonable and fast shipping was a huge bonus

This bowl does exactly what it supposed to do. As part of the Ankarsrum mixer, this smaller bowl does great work of cake and pastry batches with it's two beater sets. Creaming, whipping and mixing this double whisk mixing bowl can do it.

NOT FOR COOKIE DOUGHI'll use my Kitchenaid for cookies for now on. EVERY YEAR I'm buying this stuff again - the gears break under cookie dough and the dough roller just isn't good for making cookies. I use that for bread.This is a FANTASTIC whisk - very powerful and effective. But - don't use this stuff when you make cookies. Just don't.

Bach after Bach of Christmas Cookies!

I was very disappointed in the quality of this item. Firstly, the bowl is plastic so it eventually will crack, break and scratch. The attachment base of the beaters were also plastic. If you’re going to make an expensive purchase you would hope the parts and accessories would be durable and not made of plastic. If that wasn’t enough of a disappointment, I was charged $20 to return the item.

Sad we couldn't just purchase the bowl but grateful to be able to get a replacement.

I love my mixer but this bowl is only good for making whipping cream or icing or something of that consistency. In order to make cookies with my Ankershrum, I have to buy the stainless steel and very expensive stainless steel bowl. Don’t waste your money on this bowl.

While the product works great in theory, during the second use one of the tines on the center gear broke. It still works (sort of). Haven't heard back from seller on returning it.Seller sent me a new gear and said it's only made for delicate batters.
