Loved this book a lot. Learning new things that are worth knowing for the present and future generations

This book on Ayurveda by Dr. Frawley is perhaps the most comprehensive I have come across. With Subhash Ranade at the helms, the book is fast paced and brings out the concepts of Ayurveda in a nice, comfortable manner. There are not too many good books on Ayurveda, most deal with Ayurveda as an alternative medicine like they deal with TCM or Yoga. To really get the best of it, it is advisable not to skip the initial chapters. Ayurveda, Nature’s Medicine by Dr. Frawley and Ranade truly brings out the substance of what it means to lead a life guided by Ayurveda principles.

Great resource & easy to read. One of the most helpful sections is an appendix with dual dosha diet guidelines.

Makes sense so far I am going to try practicing it.

An excellent overview of all the main areas of Ayurveda. Easy to understand and well explained. Useful as an introductary text for those with a limited knowledge of Ayurveda and as quick reference for those with more advanced knowledge.Occasional typo's most of which are fairly obvious, the most significant being the deletion of limb 5 from the table spanning pg 265-266 summarizing Patanjali's Classical eightfold system of yoga.A book I enjoyed reading cover to cover and one I would recommend without hesitation inspite of the error noted above.

If you want to seriously study Ayurveda, this is a wonderful book.
