Good for price but hard to work with
This clay is pretty good and the stuff that comes with it is not too shabby as well. I was really happy with this purchase especially for the price. I've worked with several different types of clay and this clay is, sadly, at the bottom of my "like" list. The problem with this clay is it is extremely stiff and brittle at first. As an adult, I was eventually able to knead the clay to softness but my kids had a really tough time with it. I found that you can microwave the clay for about 10-15 seconds that you want to use immediately and it softens it up enough that you can cut out a lot of the kneading time. The other problem I had with this that may be a good thing is it never really hardens. After baking the clay for way longer than should have been needed, the clay was still slightly rubbery. I guess this could be a good thing. It's less likely to break that way. Attached is a photo of something made with this clay. My son just loves this thing. The fact that it hasn't broken yet, under his care, speaks a lot of it's durability.

You get what you pay for
The only thing I like about this set is that the clay colors are vibrant, pretty, and there is a good variety to choose from. The good selection of colors actually works against the set. The portions themselves are tiny (not that I was expecting to get a ton of it for price and amount of colors). Almost enough to make a ball that fits in the palm of your hands. The fact that there are no duplicate colors means you can’t combine them to make a bigger portion. The clay is easily hand warmed to soften but take care to not over work it (which is easy to do) or it just becomes a gooey mess. The clay did harden firing in the oven, but created a ton of smoke (which colored the white clay an ugly gray). Comes with a project book (that I didn’t look through) and a variety of plastic tools. Overall, my kid (Who is 8) enjoyed making and firing her projects which is why I’m giving this 3 stars and not one. I, on the other hand, was not impressed and would not recommend nor buy again.

It ain't sculpey.
My son and I will use this occasionally for the colors, but - while there are surely some exceptions - it's hard to use really cheap clay once you've used Sculpey. I don't mean for this to read like an ad, but when one product which isn't prohibitively expensive makes for much easier use/experience, what're you to do?

First time using polymer clay
I made this little guy. Took me about an hour because I don't know what I'm doing and was following a YouTube video tutorial. It worked fine. Is supposed to be crumbly at first but once you knead it a little it becomes pliable. One of his ears and an arm fell off. Not easy to get pieces to stick, or I might not be doing it right. Wish there were better instructions. I also wish it included more primary colors. There was no red, which I wanted for his hat.

Great mix of colors
Some of the clay was just too sticky to use even when I tried to dry it out a little it remained sticky and I couldn't really work with it but most of them were amazing and for beginners or kids this was an awesome set.

Beautiful color selection
Kiddos loved to play with them- the packets are fairly small, but there are many colors, and the guidebook suggests many miniature items to make. Lovely little gift.

Nice
I haven't gotten to use it yet but it's a great little pack. Many colors in small amounts. Going to try to make a wedding cake topper... try.

Oven Baked Clay
Item was received promptly, and I ordered for a school project. Please note the size of the clay because if we looked closer at the details because we would have needed many more pieces ( 1 1/4" W x 2" H) and only one piece of each color.
