Just what I needed to replace a failed switch on my Kobalt 2-stage air compressor, seems identical in fit and function.

Purchased this on August 12, 2024 worked great at time of installation. Went to use compressor today. One side of the relay will not pull in the points will not make contact defective. May be used compressor 20 times since August.

My compressor is a cobalt 80 gallon upright the small 1/4 in. Plastic tube that attaches to the pressure switch when it reached its shut off pressure would blow a small bit of air then stop this is the way it is supposed to work but it started to continually leak it would leak down until the compressor started up again then stop at shut off pressure a vicious cycle I thought it was the internal workings of the switch so I bought this switch put it on thought the problem was solved worked great back to normal for about a month then same problem turns out that the little 1/4 in. line hooks to a one way valve going into the tank from the compressor is on the compressor side of the valve and the air that comes out of that line when it is operating correctly is the air pressure bleeding off the compressor so it doesn't have to start under pressure but my problem was that one way valve going bad letting air back out to compressor and the1/4 in. line but this switch worked great got the new one way valve from granger under twenty bucks hope this helps someone.

I installed this on my 240V 3HP 2 Stage compressor and it worked great, I had a Old Square-D with adjustable differential no 2-way release valve, they cost about 120-150 new, I had replaced it with a china switch and it did not work at all, nothing I did would make it have a reasonable differential ranging from 60-100 psi so I had to replace it despite it being brand new. This out of the box did about 180-150 and later after some use 175-145 where it should be, it was easy enough to hook up and worked a treat over the other unit I replaced it with. It is very cheap feeling in the plastic department but not more so over the other unit. The Off/Auto works just fine and the release valve I do not have hooked up as my pump dose not have a place to connect but it's a push type not a compression fitting type so your going to need to use nylon air line if you want to use it so pick a place that dose not get very hot or it will melt the line. for 35$ to have both a differential and cut-in/cut-out adjustment with a release valve is very good, meaning you can use this for most any compressor range, up 2HP at 120V and 3hp at 240V, if you do use anything over 3HP at 240V buy another switch rated for 5HP at 240V or higher or use a magnetic starter or you will burn out the switch right away. I plan to replace my aging 2 Stage with a affordable two cylinder single stage rated for 145 PSI at 15 CFM at 90 PSI so this switch is good valve with it's large range of adjustability, meaning I do not have to buy another switch just for that.
