Sleepy, strange. Odd. Not as pop as EMA's later records. I like it. The male vocalist does some interesting stuff.

Important historical document.
These guys are the bees knees in terms of contemporary alternative music. Ema alone has the potential to be very important down the track and here she is accompanied by her equals.

This album is a great mix of folk and noise. It's pretty much perfect. Carla Bozulich helps out.
