How does it perform around a corner of plywood? I don’t want to use two pieces that meet at the corner.

My husband cut like a v out of it so that it goes around the corner nicely

I don't know for sure, but it is a flexible plastic and you would have to have paint that would adhere to such a slick surface.

Can this be used on the exterior? I need thgis for my boat deck around the edges

I could not find any mention of exterior use or resistance to water. My guess is it would not work well. Have you looked at marine supplies for a similar product made for exterior wet surfaces?

Stick-on Edge protector

I bought this to cover up exposed counter particle board. It is perfect. I didn't cut to the right length, but I was able snip off missing piece and it's barely discernable. How long it stays glued.....not sure
