WARNING! take off the tie on split ring.
Great eratic movements out of the packaging, But, if you take off the split ring from the tie on above the bill, then it gets even more crazy movement that gets almost too many bites for the lure to handle, I've bent hooks straight on this thing. When buying new ones, get mustad, not gamakatsu or trokar as they aren't as sharp.

The 2.5 size looks nothing like the pic, no stripes, and colors are a bit off. went to fav honey hole a fished this bluegill for hours and not a bite,,, changed to the 2.5 pumpkin seed and fish on ,, 6 -SMB in the same time frame.. now it could have just been the bite turned on? whos to say. nice lure just like all the KVD cranks just know that it has no stripes.NH

1.5 ounce BLUEGILL coloration is not as shown.
I ordered a 2.5 ounce and this 1.5 ounce crankbait with the BLUEGILL pattern. Although the pics indicate that the coloration is a bit different/ more vibrant with the 1.5 ounce than the 2.5 ounce, the pic is WRONG. The coloration is NOT as shown for the 1.5. Instead it looks exactly the same as the 2.5.Other than that, it appears to be a perfectly made non-rattling crankbait.

Decent overall but worked well in a pinch!
Great action! Still learning how to bass fish, this wasn't working that well for me overall but when nothing, and I mean NOTHING was working this bait caught 2 back to back. I was running sexy shad. I could see the monsters in the water and they ignored everything, threw this on and BAM! 5LB BASS

It doesn't get much better than this for a squarebill. Beautiful craftsmanship and action. If you're in a spot where bass are feeding on bluegill they will hammer this thing.

Awesome Lure a must have
I was waiting to review this after using it and I have to say I am super impressed. I have the Chili Craw colour and small mouth bass around here just destroy it. Highly recommend this lure. The Action is very smooth and easy to use.Edit: After much more extensive use I am still having gear success. My only gripe with it is the 3 pronged treble hooks were mangled after about 50 fish. I would recommend replacing both with Berkley Size 6 treble hooks.
