Can you bake pie crust with no filling in this?

This mini-pie maker will not cook the interior of the crust, leaving it doughy. Instead, you should get a waffle bowl maker, which cooks the interior as well as the exterior. Instead of using waffle mix, you'd put in a layer of dough. Or use my little secret: Microwave a piece of white bread for about 10 secs until it's moist and very flexible. Then use that as your sheet of dough. Because bread is already cooked, the crust is done in about 2-3 minutes (since it's just toasting). Because of the pressure from the mold, it will look and taste nothing like toast once it's done. It tastes like a real crust. I have this model because it's the cheapest. Not got a uk plug

Machine works well however it not stated that it has a American 2 pin plug. So i had to buy an adapter to use it in England!!!! Which added to the cost !

Really love this little pie maker. Just the right size. I made 30 today - first time using machine. There’s a bit of a learning curve. It’s fun to look at the first ones I did to the end. After awhile, I felt like a professional. I’m a hobby baker, always looking for something new. I’m so pleased with this unit; and I used pie crust for top AND bottom. No problem.
