I wasn’t sure what to expect with these, but I’m very pleasantly surprised. They are rubbery, not metal but have a metallic finish that really does look like metal. I got the pack with the silver, gold and rose gold. I wanted the gold one specifically because I didn’t want to spend $150 extra to get the gold Oura ring but I wanted my ring to be gold. I figured given how inexpensive these are that they would look laughably bad but decided to give them a shot anyway and I’m so glad I did. They totally look like the real deal. I love the gold color so much. The rose gold is more of a copper than a rose gold IMO and the silver is dead on. When I tried to put it on my ring, I quickly discovered that it takes a bit of work to stretch it onto your ring since these fit like a glove on your Oura. Also, once on, you can’t spin it, so you need to get the little opening lined up with the sensor on the Oura ring as you’re putting it on. I messed it up so I needed to take it off my ring and it was harder to get off than it was to get on. I managed to get it off and back on properly and it was only then that I noticed these come with a little orange pick to help with removing the cover. That all said, if you want these to swap out your cover all the time to a different color, I would caution you that it’s going to be a pain to do that. The other thing to note is that while these covers weigh next to nothing, they do make your ring slightly thicker. Initially, I thought this would be a dealbreaker for me but then decided to wear it for a while to see how much it bugged me. After wearing it for a bit I realized it didn’t bother me really at all and any extra thickness was offset by how much I loved the gold tone. I’m hoping these last for a while without the color rubbing off since I wear the ring 24/7 except while it’s charging a couple of times a week. If these stay looking this great, they are a no brainer and the price at $10 at the time of this review for 3 is a steal.
