I was hoping these might have hinges so they could be positioned to aim the light or folded over to protect the glass when not in use. No such luck. They screw on at a fixed angle with screws that are easily lost. The day after I got it it slipped off a coffee table on to soft carpet and one of them snapped right off, cracking the whole reflector in several places so that it's completely unusable and not repairable. Waste of money.

The reflectors don't fold in for easy storage and carrying. Once you install them they stick out just like the pic. Needs a better design.

For some reason, I thought these might be polished metal, perhaps it was the price. They are heavy duty plastic, mirrored on the inside. Not sure how easy they may scratch, I will update if/when they get damaged.

The kit did reduce charge time noticeably, especially in overcast conditions. However, the mirrors turned out to be more fragile than I would have expected for mirrors make on plastic. One broke when I knocked the unit over with them attached.

Light weight plastic with optical quality reflections. Attaching & removing is simple. Using a laser pointer, I checked out the angles the sun would need to be within for the best solar collection. Their design is excellent! The sun can be almost in-line with one mirror, and the other mirror still provides a lot of light to the solar panel. WTG JOOS ! I also recommend getting their JOOS carry pouch. Another great design!

Given the uneven and easily marred finish of mylar materials....Spend very little money, go down to your local art supply, and get yourself a couple sheets of white poster board for 2 bucks...
