This is one of my favorite dimmable table lamp bases for antique-style/Edison bulbs and decorative light bulbs. The hardwood wood and the woodwork (beveling and chamfering) are of very good quality. The base is compact, and quite stable; a nice combination. The polygon shape in hardwood works well in many settings and with many decorative lamps. The dimmer functions well and is easily adjustable. The cord feed-through and cord flexibility accommodate positioning for best aesthetics. Exceptional design and very good manufacturing. On first unit purchased (last year), one very small shipping nick was easily addressed with a furniture wood-fill stick. On all units purchased since then, the fine woodwork is flawless, and well protected in shipping by good custom packaging.

The lamp base is very cute and functional for a fantastic price! It's super cute with an Edison bulb and the dimmable switch is awesome. If I decide in the future to add a lamp shade, this base will go with just about any smaller lamp shade. Love the customization.

This lamp is perfect when you don't want any extra bulk and simply want a modern and attractive way to add lighting to any room or living space. My daughter wanted a lamp to put on her windowsill, and this lamp is just the right size. It is truly compact and would be ideal for any situation when you just want a basic yet attractive lamp without all of the fuss and hassle of a "regular" lamp. We would definitely buy this again. This lamp is small enough to fit anywhere, requires no assembly, and is so easy to use and maintain. These is no hassle with a shade when changing a light bulb.

Pretty nice lamp, well built. Dimensions are there so it’s my bad but it’s much smaller than I expected it to be. I still kept it cause it’s nice and works just fine. But I might buy a bigger one down the road.

These are awesome! They are tiny and very cute. They are not very bright, (read the watts of the light bulbs) but perfect to turn on before bed, not for reading. Love them!

It's petite, it's a classy look, and is perfect for decorative bulbs of all kinds. I'm using one of those circle-shaped jumbo-sized silver bulbs that projects spots of light on the ceiling and all around - magical. I can't think of a better base for decorative bulbs - shorty is essential, no lamp shade needed.

Like other reviews have said, it flickers and buzzes when a non-dimmable bulb is put into it. If you turn it up all of the way then it MAY be fine, but I have two of these plugged into the same power strip and when they're both on and non-dimmable bulbs are in they flicker and buzz a lot.Got dimmable bulbs in the two now, and I can tell one is dimmer than the other, even with the nobs turned up all the way.Takeaways:Have to use dimmable bulbs. Nice for an accent piece. Don't go above 60W brightness or you might notice some issues, even with dimmables.
