Just to say I checked the serial number of the 80D I purchased and it is for sale in Europe, so all good.Had no problems with the camera, perfect for filming particularly as I have been able to create two setups on the camera for different filming scenarios. Fully compatible with my 70D and interchange of lenses.Delivery as described came in unopened box with UK charger.Can not be happier with the purchase.

Grey import.
The camera SN checked on the Canon web site Serial number checker, proved it was a grey import. The web site advises that it is not for sale in Europe. I have returned the item same day. I am sure the camera would be a great purchase otherwise. Never really thought that grey imports would be marketed on Amazon. It should be clearly marked for the buyer to be aware before the sale is made. I do not know the implications on such as the WiFi compatibility out of area or the warranty.

Grey import
Checking the S/N with Canon, comes out that is grey import. The box was damaged and the seals were broken.Camera has been returned.
