This item arrived faster than expected and I was quite pleased with the quality and ease of following the pictures in the book. As an Old School Dom with 40 years in the lifestyle I highly recommend that those who want to do rope play get this book and then get with someone who knows rope play. For those of us who are experienced in rope play I recommend this book as a quick refresher or to help relearn those knots that we haven't tied in a while. 5/5 stars and a definite YES to this book.

An excellent book to learn decorative and functional knots for any thing (or anyone) you may wish to tie up.The Good.Two Knotty Boys have done a great job of presenting the information in this book as easy to follow and illustrated with the pictures to create these wonderful set of knots very quickly. It's fun to read, and try out the knots early on with ease of picking up a length of rope and trying right along side the pages before you.The Bad.Lost a star because the images are not selectable in the Kindle Version. What is difficult about this is that the images cannot be made bigger or smaller, and with no scaling, some of the more intricate knots require a bit of thinking and extrapolation (or a larger screen) to see how they are done. I was lucky enough to be able to pull up the book on my 10.1" tablet, or my computer. But if trying to read this on a 7" or a smart phone, you'll really need to follow the words, or use your imagination based upon what you see the progression of the knot becoming.The Weird.Why buy your dear loved one a trashy novel about "a number of tones of off white", when the real deal is getting books like this and learning how to enjoy it for yourself. By no means is this a primer to the intricacies of BDSM, but it's a great way to spend some time figuring out the puzzles of knots, with such lovely models on the later pages.

Having no previous experience with tying knots, I found this book highly informative. I was immediately able to reproduce many of the knots on the first go. I love the detailed step by step color photos and the additional text below each photo guided me easily through any steps I didn't understand. Each knot starts with a photo of the finished product which helps to quickly find what you're looking for without even needing the table of contents. To top it off, the quirky and often comical comments add to the value making it a fun read on its own. I would definitely recommend this book for beginners and it would probably even benefit more experienced riggers looking for some beautiful accent knots.

Everything we need to have a knotty good time!

Very good book. Beginner here at rope bondage and i have learned alot from this book. Check out their othe book "Showing you the ropes" both are great for beginners and experts alike. One thing i have noticed while researching rope bondage is that it is really hard to learn how to tie knots by reading a book and looking at the pictures. They make it as easy as possible with very clear pictures that show step by step what to do. It gets easier to follow after you get used to it. Thanks guys!

Back on the Ropes is a great buy for those interested in tying up their partner. Most of the ties work well on the female body. Rope lengths specified can be a little on the long side for the thinner female. Great companion book to the first one. There are some knots they use in this book that are only described in the first book. For a book on knots, they do a surprisingly good job of showing each seperate piece of the knot and how it is done. The only way to improve upon this would be to actually learn directly face to face from them.
