Stunning, exquistite stitches
I have been looking to jazz up my stitches for a while, and got rather bored of usual ones you see everywhere.I was also looking to add texture, as some of embroidery stitches look a bit flat on blouses. This is perfect, and the ideas add a whole new dimension to bead embroidery. I particularly like the fussy intricate stitches that show lots of effort but actually are simple to do and has a lovely handmade look to it. The Japanese are so good at this sort of thing, and often are a step, if not two, steps ahead. I am really looking forward to the adventures with these stitches and inventing some of my own. I quite fancy having a go at doing bead jewellery and jazzing up office blouse collars, and using larger beads on different projects.

Great for beginners.
It's a very good book to learn from. An ideal start off point for beginners. As the book suggests, it's a sampler, so not really a projects book.

Bead embroidery heaven
A beautifully illustrated book with masses of very clear instructions. This must surely become one of the definitive "go - to" resources for all types of bead embroidery. Also contains lots of inspirational ideas.

Very pretty and so clever
The author cleverly shows the many ways to add embellish and add depth to your designs by incorporating beads into even the most basic embroidery stitches. I recommend both this book and the author's latest "bead embroidery stitch samples - motifs".

A Must for a Sewer's Library...
A book full of beautiful, inspiring bead embroidery that I'm sure would get anyone interested in such things excited and inspired not only to try to reproduce the designs, but to invent and create their own. Have fun!
