Roller Ball Pen with FP ink, I enjoy it
I’m a fountain pen person, but needed a good rollerball for when I’m handing a patient a pen or when I’m in a gorilla grip mood on a pen. Love it! All my pens now are truly refillable, which I love for the planet! It’s a broad writer considering what I used to where with but I do enjoy it, probably a M/B point. I have had patients who stop writing with it to complement, but I wish it was a F point, personally. Not scratchy for sure! Pulls straight lines and doesn’t skip when it has adequate ink, though it will when it starts to get low, but thanks to the clear barrel you can tell that is why. It is certainly a posted pen, meaning you want to put the cap on the end for the full length pen, otherwise it might be uncomfortable, but as I am someone who posts their pens it is not a bother for me.I did buy the converter and I wish Herbin had a better designed one as it has a very small reservoir, one I can definitely use in a day or some days half a day depending on how busy I am, so I might look for a better designed one, for the larger reservoir, or I refill midday. There is a full size pen available for this reason I believe

Works as advertised, feels cheap, not a very fine tip
I have mixed feelings about this pen. On one hand, it does what it says. Easily refillable, writes well, takes fountain pen ink etc. The color and style is what you expect. In the hand though, it feels very cheap. It does not feel like it will last a very long time unless it lives its life in a drawer unused. While it writes well, the line it produces is not very fine. I would consider it more of a medium with no way to adjust or order a finer tip. While this was a decent way to check out a different style of pen from the typical fountain pens and ballpoints, its definitely a case of getting what you pay for. Maybe even a bit overpriced.

Liquid ink rollerballs are genius but shouldn’t cost so much to use
To buyers & manufacturers- great idea : these many new liquid ink rollerballs- and this one is Very nice to use To be able to write smoothly w/o scratchy cheap fountain pens w a smooth rollerball—- a dream But a better rollerball than this is neededHope they refine- The pleasure of using an ‘inexpensive liquid ink rollerball’ is spoiled by the overall costs of this productIt was easy to hold & ink flowed well w good script - in short - was great!- However it needs work - esp in overall cost / ie., refillsUsing this pen for a year exceeds use of a moderately priced fountain pens w or w/o refill needsSo - using this innovation -costs more than it should & isn’t worth it YetYes those tiny refills- &/or ink/w piston- are French & charming- but cost too much overall & make this pen just a pen fiends penBL Co, needs larger refills or cheaper piston/ink for an eco- friendly, pen w an advantageThe fact that it writes so well imight seem worth extra money but not 2-3x more given cost of ink to use pen -Right now 3 months of refills or ink would equal that of a new penThat’s not your idea is it?

Writes with a crunchy feeling and skritchy noise
I was so disappointed with this pen! Its writing is the opposite of smooth. It's sort of the writing equivalent of scratching a chalkboard.

Love it!!
A real liquid ink cartridge rollerball pen... what can I say other than awesome. I wanted the fountain pen ink feel without really having to use a fountain pen and this is it. Smooth writing and easy to use. This has a fine nib, which is perfect for when I need to draw some diagrams along with notes. I highly recommend this to anyone who's looking for the real ink feel, but don't want the trouble of a fountain pen.

Short doesn't last long
Just want to start off I really really wanted this to work for me. So I work in a lab and we have to write in notebooks all day logging samples in, writing information down etc. Its a lot of writing, but honestly I would think if I took into how many pages in a notebook I write a day it would contain roughly maybe 15 pages if each line was filled and thats pushing it.The ink is inconsistent its either too thin or way too thick. It writes scratchy and skips occassionally. I go through a cartridge a day in an 8 hour shift. After my 3rd cartridge change the pen bled out and because I had it open in my lab coat pocket it bled onto the coat. It's also super short you defeinitely need to keep the cap attached at the end to give it more length to write with.

Good for the price
Bought the rollerball version to try in looking for a more zero waste option than even the uni-ball signo refills have been giving me, but even though this is listed as fine tip, by roilerball standards this is a broad tip. could be the ink i have is running extra thin, not sure, but the line width is much wider than the 0.5mm of my signo.writes beautifully otherwise. Using the Monteverde Mini Ink Converter without any loading issues and no leaks yet (knock on wood!).I will be trying it out on a number of papers and hopefully with some different inks and hope to fin the mix that will let me make this my daily writer.

Scratchy tip
This is the second time I have purchased the pen, the first time it stopped writing. So, I decided to give it another shot, this one is scratchy and leaves gaps when writing. I do not want to give up on this totally, I will contact the sellers to see if they can replace it with a different one. If the third one fails, then pretty much I will be done with this product.
