They filled the purpose of adapting 3.5 mm audio cables to my 4 port headphone amplifier so I can hook a soundbar and sub amp to my tv. Only probem being one of the adapters is defective, you have to push really hard to get the speaker lead to plug into the adapter and there is constant static on that channel due to bad internal connection, luckily I have three others to choose from.

They work, and I don't detect any noise, hiss, or cutouts. Have only used them for about a month, and I'm not using pro equipment. They're not as heavy as other adapters I've got, so the build quality might not be great, but no reason to be concerned yet. Makes it easy to put a few in various places (gig bag, studio drawer, next to the monitoring system).
