Top Hat Costume Accessory

This is a decent hat for the price. Good for costumes but not for every day use. Better for kids because it might look right on them. The brim is small and the hat is about three inches tall overall, much more like a fedora than a real top hat. Not sure if it arrived on time because it was first shipped to the wrong address.

The hat is very lightweight and easily damaged. That makes it especially disappointing that it was packaged in a box the was 3 inches shorted than the height of the hat - literally crushed while packing. I returned it.

It was shorter then the picture not like a top hat more like an 80's style hat like Duckie on 16 candles.

The picture is a top hat. What I received us more of a bowler.

inexpensive gag hat. you get what u pay for

I read a lot of reviews and am surprised that any of them stated this itme would fit an adult. It popped off my husband's head. I squashed it on mine and it inched its way off. I then tried it on my teenager's head and even that didn't work. Unfortunately I had to return for a refund. Amazon was quick and helpful as always. I did find a replacement item in a local costume store that fits well however I would rather do my shopping through Amazon so I hope they are able to find one that actually matches the description to sell on their website.

My son wanted a top hat for part of his Halloween costume. This one fit the bill. As other reviews noted, the hat is not as tall as one might think for a top hat. But it was good value for the price and served the purpose for a child's Halloween costume.
