Wall Utility Garage Storage Hook – 6 Pack Metal Steel White Large Heavy Duty Mount Hanger Two Sizes with Mounting Screw Hardware Kit for Hanging Bike, Ladder, Tools, and Hose for Organization

We had these hooks in the wall for literally about a week and a half, holding our bikes up in the garage. Two hooks on each. Plenty to support the weight. The hooks and anchors and screws literally all just came right out and my bicycle was on the floor when I was ready to leave for work. The hardware was garbage that came with the kit and we intended to reinstall with better hardware at some point but didn’t think they’d come down so quickly (and we haven’t even taken the bikes on and off the hooks once since we put them up!). I would return these and NOT recommend to anyone but unfortunately my husband took a month to install them after they arrived and so now we are past our window to return them.

The hooks themselves are decent quality. The depth is great. However, the hardware they provide is essentially useless if you’re planning to hang anything heavier than a feather on these hooks. The screws don’t even go into the wall 5/8”, so if you have 1/2” drywall, the screws are anchoring into a stud by less than 1/8”. I know they provide the drywall anchors, but everyone knows it’s preferable to anchor into a stud whenever possible. The hardware they provide simply doesn’t allow for this. Luckily, I had some longer screws laying around that worked... so using those, installation was a breeze. But I don’t think customers should have to buy/provide their own hardware considering the price of the hooks.

The included screws are not nearly long enough to go through the hooks and then engage the stud or even the wall anchor.Upon further review, I also find it suspicious that so many people felt compelled to give it 5-stars and accompany their generic review with pictures of the opened box or the hooks laid out on the floor. None of these people took a picture of the product mounted?

The screws are too short to hold it in place. Needed to put an anchor and buy longer screws. Even so, when installed and hung a bicycle they bent and came off the wall (before installing anchor). After anchor they bent (didn't break) and had to install another bracket to hold the weight.Maybe useful for lighter stuff..

Hooks themselves are fine, but the screws included are of very poor quality. If you wind up screwing them into wood, you'll strip out the head. I wound up replacing with wood screws.

I purchased this set of hangers to organize my fishing poles.Well, when I tried to install the hangers, the hardware included was absolutely useless. The screws provided were not long enough.Find another option unless you feel like buying hardware in addition to the hangers.

These are really nice for installing in a finished area - the paint color actually matches in the pantry we installed these in so they almost blend in. I do wish the up turn on the fronts were a little higher but the measurements given were accurate and overall I'm very satisfied.

The hooks are perfect for what we needed (garage and laundry room storage) but installation was a pain because the supplied wall anchors and screws did not work with the screws. The wall anchors did not allow the provided screws to "bite" into the anchor. I had to use my own anchors and screws. Once I switched, they were great.
