The Airwolf Raven is an impressive wrist instrument making optimal use of the possibilities afforded by electronics. Its numerous functions have been kept to those actually required by professional pilots: 1/100th of a second chronograph with split times, alarm, countdown, 2nd timezone with independent alarm, UTC and perpetual calendar. Handling of these functions is designed to be logical, simple and direct, and an NVG-compatible display backlighting system enables night-time read-off. The aeronautical vocation of the Airwolf Raven is underscored by the famous circular slide rule a Breitling signature feature. This high-flying chronograph is also endowed with undeniable aesthetic assets, including a black rubber-molded bezel with 360° graduation. On the steel caseback, a turbine-shaped construction serves as a resonance chamber for the alarm and the other audible indications.
