My friend is a professional Dj and was very impressed by the sound produced from this speaker. it is well worth 200 bucks. I have turned this speak up very loud, as I do enjoy very loud music. it handles the power very well, no distortion.

If expectations are kept in check, you will be pleasantly surprised. Lower midrange can get a bit muddy, likely due to a higher crossover than optimal for such a large woofer. The compression driver and horn sound nice and clean. The woofer is capable of very nice bass as long as your not looking for subwoofer type bass. The inputs are very impressive as is the sound for the price. If you are looking for an inexpensive, non-audiophile PA that gets loud and has some good thump, you cant beat this for the price.

I don't understand the bashing of some on these speakers, come on people they are 15's.... Ya, they are going to be loud and they are gonna hit with a boom. I can say that smaller venues and possible a bigger one that these are going to surprise you. But, as it has been said keep your levels in check. I ran these out of a NVii controller into a Rockville REQ231 Dual Band 1/3 Octave Graphic Equalizer With Sub-Output! I can't say enough I am pleased, the only thing I am going to be watching is one of the horns crackles while playing one song. This could be just the song itself I am not 100% sure as of now. Otherwise I am really happy.

I bought this speaker 2 years ago and quality is bad. First only one channel worked on it. Second the speaker went out on me on the very first day it started smoking after a couple hours of use and never worked again. I wouldn't recommend buying this speaker. It's been sitting in storage to see if I can repair it but I think I'm just gonna trash it. For $200.00 I strongly recommend add more money on to whatever you have and get yourself something good around JBL or Mackie.

The unit is very load but I'm not fond of the audio quality, the bass is too boomy and the mid-range is muddy. I'm sending the unit back for I cannot use it with my other speakers, I have to over EQ to make this cab sound decent and that deteriorates the sound for my exciting cabs

The unit sounds good , but does not have the stamina to maintain the performance, but it's o ly $200. So for the value it's worth it. I would buy another one again . Just to use for highs and not bass.

These speakers are the best!!!! I recently upgraded to these and for the price and the extremely fast shipping they are a good buy. Ive used these daily and so far so good if anything changes i will let you know but the sound is good "deep base and clear highs" if your using a cell phone or iphone or something stupid to use these for your not getting the true sound due to no eq settings on your audio out on these devices. if your using professional LXR wiring and a pioneer board then your good. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE TO ANYONE!! --DJ FROST
