iPhone XS Max and Apple watch series 4 charges perfectly! Finally, I can stop buying new lightning cables!!This has stopped charging my Apple watch series 4, which is a shame. I can't even return it since the window to return it closed on 11/3. Now I'm stuck with it even though it doesn't do what it's supposed to.

First, I started using the supplied cable with an Amazon Basics 60w 6-port USB-A charger which outputs 5v 2.4A per port. The sticker on the back of the device states 9v 1.67A or 5v 2A are acceptable input voltages, so should be legit, right?Wrong. While I had no problem throwing both my iPhone X and Apple Watch Series 4 on the dock and the charging processing beginning on both simultaneously, only the phone would remain charging. It seems as soon as the screen sleeps on the Apple Watch Series 4, the charging of that device ceases and removing and reattaching the Watch is necessary to kick of the charging process again. This is the behavior regardless of if the Watch is alone on the dock or along with the iPhone.I retried this experiment with a Samsung USB-A charger which outputs 9v 1.67-2A. No change in behavior. The Watch simply will not charge.While the USB input port on the back of the dock is physically a USB-C port, if you think you're going to get away with using a USB-C charger, stop and slap yourself, because they don't work. I attempted to use the USB-C power supplies from my MacBook Pro 2016 (9v 3A or 5.2v 2.4A) and 2018 iPad Pro 3rd Generation (9v 2A or 5v 3A) and neither would power this dock with either the Apple-supplied charging cables nor a know-good (OWC) USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 data cable. No LED action on the charger with these combinations what-so-ever.The only reason I gave this thing 2 stars is because the material quality is good and it's an attractive option. The magnet was plenty strong to hold my Apple Watch in place. I really wanted this to work out.It's a pity the software is buggy and customers are subjected to this mess of finding a power supply that supposedly works. Do your customers a favor and SUPPLY A POWER SUPPLY which is capable of providing the functionality you are marketing. (simultaneous charging of phone and watch, after all, that's why anyone would purchase this dock) . The LED(s) could be a little less bright and distracting in dark rooms.Guess I'll be returning this...

Overall the dock is very nice. I was disappointed to see that I need to order a 5 volt 2 amp charger brick to charge the iPhone and iWatch simultaneously. The standard iPhone and iWatch brick is only 5 volt 1 amp leaving you having to order an additional part after the fact. The charger works fine and looks the same as the pictures. My only complaint is having to order the extra part after the dock had arrived today. The sticker on the charger is what alerted me to check. I did not notice the warning for the additional amperage requirement on the ad that I purchased the dock from. It would have been useful information to have while making my decision on which dock to purchase. Considering the fact I spent a while reading and researching before making a purchase, I am a bit annoyed with my two purchases now as I need to order more parts to get up and running.Update: charger completely died 6 weeks after return date ended. So glad I bought three of these units. Waste of money!

This device charges my iPhone XS Max without a problem but does nothing for my Series 4 watch. This its my second device of this configuration (from different vendors) and I am sending it back as well.

Love my charging stand! Sturdy design with sleek “apple” look to it is clean with just one cord in back. Magnets keep devices secure. I love using it as a stand while I’m working and the phone charges on my desk. Simultaneously charges watch and phone well. Only recommendation would be to design it to adjust angle for viewing and make it easier to pack.

This never worked for Apple Watch Series 4. Then, after nearly 7 months, it stopped working for iPhone 10. When you place the phone it starts charging but after 2 minutes the charging stops and the indicator LED starts blinking in blue and green. Then I replace the phone to see the same thing happening again. Tried with case and without a case, it’s still the same. This is just a brick now.

I originally bought this for myself and it doesn’t charge series 4 watch so I gave it to my daughter she has a series 3 and it works perfectly with her watch and iPhone 8 Plus

Does not charge the Apple Watch 4 regardless of any power wall adapter you use. I used a anker 18 watt wall adapter with this unit which was 3.0 grade, and confirmed 9V 2 amp and it still won’t charge the Apple Watch. Wasted so much money to make sure I met the requirements to charge both my iPhone X and Apple Watch 4 series and STILL DOES NOT WORK! Don’t waste your money unless you have a 3 series.
