Well made product!
Really well made lamp sockets! Used for an industrial pipe lamp I made and I think they look great!The end has a ring that threads on and off I'm not quite sure what it's for, only thing I could think of is maybe it's for a bulb cage if you decide to add one. So the threads are exposed but not a big deal to me. I do recommend these!

Quality at a bargain price.
DIYers: Make sure you connect the hot wire to the correct terminal for the center contact.Great for economy ceiling fan lights, lol.Sturdy, quality castings and finish, ceramic socket, NO plastic other than the fitting that holds on to the wire if you use these for fixtures hung from the power cord.Only complaint is no easy way to attach a ground wire, but a ground wire clip used with metal boxes gets the job done if you want a ground.

High quality and a beautiful reciptical
I wish the top was made out of metal and matched the color of the base but when the light is on and its hanging from the ceiling its hard to notice. They are beautiful recipticals and very high quality. Not only would but them again i did this review because i was in the process of ordering them again

They do the job.
Arrived quick. Good value. Some of the tiny parts (small screws) are tough to work with, but it did the job. I would buy again.

Rough pieces that rips rayon covered wire
In all four sockets there is a rough metal piece which rips the 18/2 rayon covered wire.I wrapped the wire in duct tape with purpose of threading it through the socket, which rips the duct tape.Unfortunately, this excludes many beautiful cables which would look well with these sockets.Also, there are no instructions so you'd better have small fingers because using these sockets involve a lot of tinkering.

These look great. They have a ceramic socket as well. They work great.

Well made.
This product is well made. The wires install in a screw to hold them in place. These were 1/8 threaded and fit neatly into a candelabra body to make this light. The screws are not color coded for ground/hot but this did not bother me at all. The fixture seems sturdy and the threading is smooth.
