Works very well. I decided to get this specific roller because it was .5mm. Many of the reviews say to start out with .25mm if you are new to the derma roller but if you are trying to remove or even out old acne scars you need a slightly longer needle. The .25mm os good for surface brightness and surface skin discoloring. It allows the products you use to get under the first layer of skin. The .5mm is good for scaring and minor wrinkles, such as frown lines and forehead lines in your mid 30s. 1mm is good for deeper wrinkles and severe scaring. The higher the number the deeper it will penetrate the skin. If you have acne scars as I do and the start of wrinkles the. 5mm should work very well for you. I would do it only twice a week to start out and at night. Be careful not to press to hard. There will be a few places were picked pricks of blood come out but not all over the face. I picked this specific mm to start because I needed more than just the first layer of skin to be reached. This is a good sturdy product and works as it should. Clean after each use and replace after 3 months. For any derma roller those two procedures are necessary for sanitation and effectiveness.

I hadn’t done much research about derma rollers but you are better off spending the money and getting one that is a real Derma Roller! This one is not real needles, it is a metal wheel with knife points....NOT GOOD! These cheap ones are exactly what they are, cheap. If you want to roll your face with this go ahead but you may be doing more harm than good, look for someone who sells an authentic Derma Roller.

Product arrived well-packed and sealed. I cleaned with alcohol before using. Micro needling was not a new concept to me; this is the second one I’ve had. I say that to say this tool was a completely different experience — much sharper and less pleasant than the previous tool. After only one use, I think it deserves another chance as it performed like it was supposed to. Can’t totally recommend, nor can I say to the contrary.

I recieved my DR in perfect condition, in a case, wrapped up good I'm guessing to keep it sterile. This is the first DR I have ever used so i cant compare it to others. What i can do is help to clear the confusion i went through to find this. It is a .5mm DR with the needles, not those discs or sharp metal like alot of the cheaper ones are. It is very sharp and easy to use. It squeaks a bit when you roll it, but it doesn't affect anything. Hope this helps someone.

I recommend this for those who want to remove their scars by derma rolling. My wife was spotty, she have taken a needling treatment, it worked well but so expensive. Then, she try to use derma roller, just about 1 month, and once a week. Her face totally changed, some spots and scars faded day by day. However, you have to clean roller after use or if you can buy a new one to replace the old one after 2 or 3 months

This Premium Derma Roller540 is fantastic. Before anyone uses a Derma Roller you need to do your homework and see what depth you need for the reason you are micro needling. Always follow a good hygiene routine with your roller as to not set your skin up for an infection. Great product
