GoPro Camera HERO7, Silver

This is my first GoPro, after reading all the negative reviews of the Hero 7 Black I went with the silver. Mainly to save the extra $100. So far so good, I have it mounted on my center console on my boat. Video is super smooth and clear on the 1080p setting. I have not tried 4k as of now - I do not have a 4k compatible TV or computer. Pictures are OK. They will not be DSLR quality but then again this is made for action videos. I will update review after a few weeks of playing with it. The only downfall right now is that GoPro nor any 3rd party companies make a waterproof housing for the silver/white just yet. I know its waterproof and it works well. Sometimes you just want some added protection. Not a deal breaker.

My husband and I have a very active lifestyle - when we cruise we always look for the expeditions that will take us to do something or see something we have never done. When we are not on vacation we spend our weekends kayaking, hiking, snorkeling, paddle-boarding, boating, camping. The HERO 7 Silver was the perfect addition to our adventures. We now have amazing videos and pix from all our adventures that we can share with our friends and family.

I realize I wasn't buying brand new, but the item isn't flawless. Issues with freezing and screen locking. I'd image this is why it was refurbished/returned. Still works, does the job, overall satisfied.

Amazing pictures as crystal clear. Love the apps that you can use with it. Terrible battery life, not even an hour. Not sure if this is normal or user issue. Love the voice commands.

It is my first GoPro camera. I like it a lot video and camera very nice. One am disappointed the most is battery, Non removable or it take a part to replace battery. It suck So $75 cheaper action camera on Amazon able replace battery and carry extras battery.

Love it! I’ll nice I played with the setting got the video to be perfect. I play airsoft and this is the best camera I’ve ever used. Beautiful picture. I’m yet to use it under water. But every other feature is great. The slow-mo feature could be a little better. Both the apps you can get for the GoPro I’ve found to be extremely useful. Great buy, in super happy with it.

I've had the GoPro Hero 7 Silver for a little over a year and it works well enough for what it is. I got some decent photos and videos out of it. However, I recently took it on a trip to Cozumel where I was planning on taking it with me while I was snorkeling. Somehow, even though the door that protects the electronic ports was closed, the gasket failed and water got in as soon as I got into the water, and it basically ruined the camera preventing me from getting the videos and photos of the amazing underwater fish and coral reefs that I had brought it with me to use on. Very disappointing. If they're going to rate it waterproof and it's not foolproof, they need better instructions on how to absolutely verify that it's sealed correctly before you take it in water and start using it. I had previously used it in water without any issues so I'm not sure why the gasket failed or the door failed to seal this time but it was awful timing for it to have this probem.

La compre para mis vacaciones, y la verdad resultó un súper elección, he leído muchos comentarios negativos pero para mi que no la uso de forma profesional es una súper cámara, me gusto mucho, es fácil de usar, en el agua los videos y fotos son excelentes y no se diga en movimiento, la usé en la playa y unas tirolesas y se ven de lujo los videos, eso si hay que comprar varios accesorios dependiendo como la ocupes, pero costo beneficio está de 10 para mi!!

I unbox the product along with a youtube video to speed up the process. Very impressive product, less is more. I do see some inconsistency in connecting the camera using the gopro app, will see how it goes.

Gets hang some time with 128gb card.

I tried it as testing when I received it and it’s great so far. Hopefully when I use it regularly it will reach my exceptions
