READ THIS FIRST!
DON'T READ OTHER REVIEWS IF YOU LIVE I TEA EAST COAST SOUTH!I live in Central NC (Greensboro NC)5/1/25 I saw my first black snake in the two years that I have been living here.I love black (king) snakes! They will get rid of all of the poisonous snakes! They are completely harmless!I love black snakes for what they do, but I don’t like snakes at all!!SO READ THIS!I bought this product to spray around the borders of my townhouse. So here are some REALLY helpful tips!- So when hooking up to your water hose, do make sure that the bottle is in the OFF position!Yes, mine was!- Once you turn it to the ON position and the water is on, MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE TIGHTLY HOLDING ONTO THE HOSE AND THE BOTTLE WITH EACH HAND! (Ie: left hand on hose, right hand on bottle… Or reverse if you are left-handed!!)If you are not holding it tightly, you will get sprayed in the face! That bottle will whip around straight into your face!- Thankfully it is natural!Surprisingly, when it hit you in the eyes, it really doesn’t burn that much! And on the face, no, really doesn’t burn that much!I cannot give you an update as to whether or not this chased the snakes away, but I can’t tell you that I smell like a giant stick of Big Red gum!I will give you an update in the next one to two weeks as whether or not I see any more snakes!Have a great day!

Snake Stopper- worked for me!
Easy to apply to your area where snakes might visit. Once I sprayed the area I did not have any snakes slither by! I use it around my hay sheds. The smell reminds me of cinnamon/spices.

My go to for Lizards!
Listen I despise lizards! I absolutely hate them.....but I live in Florida....Anyways....I don't want them sneaking in the house either. This repellant works but has a strong cinnamon smell. I don't mind it. I spray all around my doors and the border of my garage. They do not come around the stuff. I've even sprayed my snake plant to keep one off of it. They don't get on my plant anymore and the spray didn't kill my plant. The only downside is that you have to really keep up with spraying. In Florida, when it rains it pours. It washes the stuff away. In that case you need to respray the areas that got soaked pretty often. Otherwise, I would spray once every week to 2 weeks. I hope this helps!

No snakes this summer
I had more snakes in my yard area this spring than in the last 20 years total. I tried this for the first time in about June and haven't seen another snake since. Even the lizards stayed away from the area. I sprayed the perimeter around the house and the fence line to the field. I just bought 2 more bottles for next year. Great product!

Know what you are Buying! By itself, its not a Snake Solution.
So, does it repel? Yes. Will it solve your snake problem? No.You have to take a holistic approach. This can be used with other stuff to get rid of snakes. The ingredients have been shown to repel many varieties of snakes. [...]That being said, if there is a food source, snakes will hunt for their food bypassing the repellent. What do snakes feed off? Small rodents, frogs, etc... So, if you have mice, frogs, anything that can be appetizing to a snake, you have to get rid of them to get rid of snakes. So, think about the food source for the rodents and frogs. If you have insects, the frogs will be around and they will attract snakes and so on and so forth. What I use that has helped tremendously is treating the insects issue with Ortho's Bug B Gone. Its sprayed on the lawn to help reduce the insects population in my yard. With no insects, with no food items, frogs and mice have no food source and no longer hang out in the yard. No frogs, no mice, no food source for snakes, they do not hang out in the yard. So, when I use Bonide Snake repellent, its a part of the a whole solution. And it smells good, too.Just like security, you must have layers and think it through. Make it harder for the snakes to get in your yard by attacking its food source and attacking the food source's food source. If you still have a snake problem, you will have to setup traps and capture them.

Waste of money! Doesn’t work!
It’s for your piece of mind but snakes cannot be restricted by this. I had snakes in my yard whenever a neighbor had disturbance in their yard so they were passing through my yard that is fully paved and has artificial turf.Sprayed this all around the yard space and on the turf once every 3-4 days but still found the snake a couple days after spraying when neighbor had yard work. Snake was lying for couple of hours in the same spot where a lot of this was sprayed. Got snake expert to come capture it.Only thing that works for snake is chicken coop wire that should be abt 2 or 3 feet high stuck in the ground.

My neighbor and I share this between our yards since houses are closer together than we would like.
Hearing about snakes in the yards of surrounding communities and a nearby neighbor, we purchased this product. Since using it appropriately /at the right time: we have not encountered any snakes in/near our yards.
