This is a good night light with a great red color
This is a good night light with a great red color. It is not a lot of light, so if you are trying to use it to find your way in a dark room, it will be a beacon only--it will not help you see the room much. Red and amber nightlights are good because scientists think they do not affect melatonin levels/circadian rhythm. If you are trying for something that shows where to go and is not lighting the area much, and which will not affect sleep--this is a good choice. The color is beautiful IMO.

Pretty red light
Put this in my bathroom after reading about how other colors of light can interfere with night time melatonin, leading to insomnia, etc.Anyway, I am having less insomnia now (having to get up a few times during the night for bathroom visits) so there's that...Also, the light itself is extremely pretty. Crystalline in nature. It wasn't quite bright enough for my particular bathroom, so I took a small piece of aluminum foil, made it the same size as the hood of the light, flattened and smoothed it out, then double side taped it to the wall in back of the light. It reflects back and there are no worries about overheating since it's an LED, and not a regular lightbulb.I would definitely buy another.

I LOVE this little red nightlight for my toddler son's room
I LOVE this little red nightlight for my toddler son's room. I looked for a red nightlight for quite some time, after reading the research about neurological effect of red vs. white (vs other wavelengths) of light. I purchased another one that was way too bright, but this one is dim enough to not keep him up for be intrusive, but just enough light to keep his room from being pitch black. There are no bulbs to replace, which I suppose means we will have to replace it whenever it does go out - but we've had it plugged in for 6 months now with no issues, and it's still going strong. I will buy again!

5 yo) woke up scared but I explained to her the switch and after that she's been fine. It's more a comfort than something to hel
I switched away from a white night light for my toddler in order to limit sleep disturbance. It glows red but doesn't emit a lot of light. The first night my daughter (2.5 yo) woke up scared but I explained to her the switch and after that she's been fine. It's more a comfort than something to help you operate by in the dark but if you're familiar with the room I think it's enough light to let you go to the bathroom etc. We've had this over a year now and it's been great. Still works as well as on the first night

good but not very bright
got this because we wanted to switch to red nightlight for my baby. Not really bright enough though. Might be good for small bathroom but not a full room. I just got a red bulb to replace the bulb in my regular nightlight.

Low light and no sensor
I'm looking for a red led night light in order to not disturb melatonin cycle for sleep reasons.Red color brightness is not nearly as bright as white color using same wattage and this is only 0.25 watts. These red night lights really needs to be at least 0.5 watts and ideally 1 watt. Also didn't realize this doesn't have light sensor either.I do give it an extra star for compact-ish design.

was disappointed to find out only one worked
Ordered two. Both arrived in the same shipment, was disappointed to find out only one worked. I am happy with the one that works, however unsure about how to change light bulb should it stop working.

It is nicely made
Too dim and I needed a red nightlight in my babys room after all the research that shows harmful effect of lights other than red in correlation to melatonin production. I have the same brand in blue and that is too bright lol no winning with this night light. It is nicely made though
