Science Comics: Trees: Kings of the Forest

We have many books from this series and myself and my 9 year old daughter really enjoy them. The layout is really nice and colorful and the content is perfect for almost any age. I highly recommend all of them!

My son loves these books! He is working his way through the whole series. He loves sharing information with us after finishing the books. This is a perfect series for kids who love science but don’t love reading. The vocabulary is a nice challenge for a graphic novel style book. My son is currently in 5th grade.

If your kids dont like to read, they will love comic style reading and want more in the series! Recommend!

We love Science comics! This is a house hold favorite along with Maris Wick's Human Body Theater. What a colorful, hilarious, and informational way to learn about trees. My daughter and I enjoyed the humor in this book and definitely gained even more respect for trees,

This series in vernal is a fabulous source for visually showing difficult concepts. The details on tree growth and the physical science around plant biology makes the knowledge easy to impart. I thought I had a handle on it, but this book showed me I had more to learn as well as my children.

My grandson loves all the books in this series. He's a beginning reader. The content is interesting enough to spur him on.

My son loves this series and the author Andy Hirsch in particular. Inspired, I gave copies to my nieces and they also love the series. Looking forward to more. (Kids have loved these from 2nd to 5th grade so far )

If it were not for colorful illustrations, explanations on what this comic book covers would be too convoluted. I love this series.

I saw the number of 5 star reviews and had great hopes for this book, I wish I’d delved a bit deeper and realised it’s a graphic novel aimed at children, not - everyone. The price is extortionate for the size of what you receive, I’ve taken some photos with a toothbrush for scale. The book is tiny! You can finish it in 20 minutes. The paper quality is also substandard, it’s like slightly thicker semi gloss magazine paper; not nice to handle, feels cheap.
