I've been into drinking tea at night and really wanted a cute tea set because I watch so many tv shows that serve tea with super cute sets. I love this set as it feels sturdy and well made. the style is classic and works well as it doesn't look very overwhelming. If you take your time to drink all your tea, you may need to get one of those tea warmers or tea warmer covers that covers the tea pot as it doesn't keep your tea warm for an extended period of time. I'd say after about 30-45 min the tea is already cooled off in the tea pot. This is not one of the tea pots that are on the stove top, as least it doesn't look like it should be. I pour in already boiling hot water into the pot and steep tea leaves in there.As for easy to clean, I don't have any issues cleaning the teapot. I always soak the teapot in water after using it so that the loose tea leaves i use do not get stuck. I have tons of dish washing tools so i use the straw cleaner in the spout to try to clean that area out. Otherwise, it's pretty low maintenance. I hand wash the items in this tea set as our dishwasher sucks. so I am not sure if it would work in a dishwasher.

I bought this for my daughter as a gift after she returned from England, and she wanted to continue with afternoon tea. I have Wedgewood and Lenox China I'll gift her when she marries next year. But she's currently living with roommates and in college and then moving. She wanted something she wouldn't be too upset about if a cup got broken. I specifically wanted the compact way of stacking to carry/store and keeping it all organized. It's as sturdy and pretty as expensive China. Very pleased!

The set is elegant and beautiful. For the most part, the set was well packed. However, as you see from my pictures the spoons came in broken. I wish I can exchange it but I have guests coming for tea time on Easter Sunday so I really need a nice tea set to entertain.Update: the seller contacted me and sent me 3 spoon replacements within a week. I am happy and wanted to update my review to 5 stars! I now have a complete beautiful tea set. I can't wait to invite more guests to tea. I'm also adding a few pictures of the tea set from different angles. The holder makes it a great show piece and keeps everything organized and in one spot.

Overall it was a nice set & good value. Unfortunately I ordered for an event & it came with a broken saucer. Everything was packaged pretty well, so I’m not sure if it just got knocked too hard in transit.

I love this, it's really gorgeous. Not too delicate, but still dainty. I'm honestly proud to own this and can't wait to show it off to my MIL. Thank you- the packaging was great too, nothing broken even though I live out on the backroads.

Beautiful set. First let me say how shocked I was at how well this was packed. Each bit of foam fit perfectly around the set. Not one single scratch or nick on any of the pieces. Beautiful crafted. The only thing I had to do was bend the metal bracket when attaching the top tier. It took two seconds but if I didn’t I could see it popping out and breaking something. I would highly recommend this set. Perfect for Sunday tea and cheap enough to gift to your little girl as a first tea set.

Wouldnt have purchased this if it wasnt for the label bone china. After less than a week of using this set i already noticed a chip on one of my cups. I have bone china bowls Ive used for 3 years that have withstood the test of time with my toddlers and dishwasher so I held it up to the light, didnt pass the translucency test. i guess I should've known it was too good to be true for this price but i thought Amazon wouldve had some marketing control.The set is beautiful imo, and upon initial impression, everything arrived intact except I was missing the spoons. I contacted the seller and they immediately sent out the set; though it was still missing 1 spoon so waiting again for the final missing spoon. The pot ended up being a bit small for me with a lid that doesnt sit well. The rack, albeit matching well with the set, was the poorest quality; there are literally sharp edges everywhere and some of the rods need to be filed down. The seller offered me some money back to file it down myself. Even at $75 for a teapot set Ive come across ones with better quality control. Quality bone china wouldve made the higher cost worth it so I guess I should've known better that this was too good to be true but gravely disappointed in the dalse advertisement.
