Disappointed
I was expecting a more chocolate cake taste. But, it's OK. It's just not as good as I expected though.

Great taste and no mess
Bought my daughter a V700 for Christmas and a 12 pack of Timothy's German Chocolate Cake cups (along with the Solo V2 adapter). She loves German Chocolate Cake and this was the first blend she tried and she loved it. It smelled just like German Chocolate Cake and according to her, it tasted like it too. She even went back for seconds. My wife tried a sip and liked it as well. My daughter said it was not overpowering but definitely tasted like German Chocolate Cake with even a hint of coconut. There was no mess in the Solo V2 or the machine itself so I'm guessing the previous reviewer might have inserted the cup wrong or perhaps the machine needed cleaning (too much backpressure).

Messy
Unfortunately, all the grains seeped out of the kcup while brewing :(. Apparently I got a faulty batch of the German chocolate.

German Chocolate Cake K-Cups
I bought this item for my husband as it is his favorite cake flavor. He was indeed quite happy with it. The vendor shipped it immediately and it arrived in two days as promised. Will buy this item again.

Bitter Chocolate Notes Overpower Coconut And Vanilla
I'm a fan of German chocolate cake and looked forward to trying Timothy's German Chocolate Cake flavored coffee (artificial and natural flavorings are used.) The coffee itself is acceptable, but the artificial flavors are quite distinct; even before I tasted my first cup I noted the artificial aromas while the K-Cup brewed my coffee. The chocolate is distinctly identifiable, although its bitterness masks any traces of the alleged coconut flavoring in the mix. I likewise couldn't readily discern the caramel taste, although a bit of the vanilla was noticeable. I didn't find this to be an especially balanced flavor profile and not truly representative of German chocolate cake. Perhaps I had a bad batch, but I won't be giving this flavor a second chance. I didn't loathe it enough to throw the remainder of the K-Cups away, but I would never consider buying it again. There are many better flavored coffees on the market. Try pretty much anything from Brooklyn Bean Roastery, for instance.
