Motorcycle Detachable Adjustable Passenger Driver Rider Backrest Sissy Bar for Electra Glide Street Glide Ultra CVO FLHR FLHX FLTRX 2009-2018

I installed this product on my bike yesterday. The instructions are a little confusing but I'm pretty handy. Didn't take too long to install. The problem is it doesn't lock into place.. I had a buddy come over who has a similar product on his and we spent hours trying to figure it out. It doesn't work right.. When you pull on the cable release lever the cable engages but the piston/shock doesn't do anything it's either faulty or just a really bad product

The instructions are terrible. and there were a couple of parts missing. One being the clip nut, so I went to the local hardware store and got a couple. also the know that adjusted the height of the backrest is also missing, so hopefully I will find something to work on that tomorrow. I saved a bit of money going this route, the "leather" looks ok, but you can tell its not as nice as the dealer version. I got pretty frustrated with the instructions. they were a photo copy. was it worth saving the $150 saving? probably. so I shouldn't complain too much. Good news, it did fit my 09 flhtc. a tip, you have to remove the adjust lever from the mounting bracket in order to install properly. If you have an FLHTC, you will probably need to remove the battery and other stuff in order to install 2 bolts. When adjusting the forward / backward angle of the backrest, you need to pull the level as far as you can. Overall it looks good. Will see how well it works. Good luck!Update. I contacted the seller on a sunday about the missing knob on the backrest and they already responded that they are sending me another one, and told me I didn't need to send the old one back. So I am impressed with the customer service.

Cheaper than the Harley version but seemed on par with quality. Only three stars because instructions were terrible and was missing parts. Had to go to Lowes to get proper screws.

Instructions a little difficult to grasp at first but someone with a little mechanical skills can figure it out. Actual backrest piece is sloppy and seems loose but it is pretty secure, but it does move around in its holder. Once you've installed the mount under the seat make sure to pull the lever and push the mechanism all the way back before installing seat and installing backrest riser...makes it much easier to install. Overall I'm happy and it comes on and off so you can put it in your tour pack and avoid it getting stolen.

Mechanically same as Harley's but the cushion portion was very wobbly so I had to adjust by cutting a piece of the bracket so it would sit further in mount, and the cushion adjustment button broke off while trying to move cushion.

The seat sits up to high. Will not adjust to your lower back. Seat is sloppy in the hole and the adjustment has really no use at all. Spend the money and buy the Harley seat

Had to adjust bracket and seat pin fell out. Lever is plastic and broke so be careful. If your handy this isn’t a problem if you’re not then don’t buy.
