Great selection, Great service! HORRIBLE germination rate!!!!!!
The seeds arrived very quickly and were packaged very well. All 12 varieties listed were received and individually bagged. The Organic Growing guide is an e-book (as it says) and is available online. Sadly that's the best part of the review.I tried to germinate the seeds for all of the hot varieties (I only wanted the hot peppers) Out of the ENTIRE pack of tabasco seeds, 4 germinated. The Cayenne had 0 germinate, Red Habanero 0 Germinated, Black Hungarian 4 germinated, Thai Hot 3 germinated, Orange Habanero 1 Germinated but that was as far as it got, no leaves, Serrano 1 germinated.These aren't small 10 seeds packs, there are 20+ seeds there. I tried germinating in peat pots on a heated seed starting mat, I tried without the mat. I tried in moist paper towel in a Ziploc bag both on heat mat and off, nothing worked. I've been growing hot and super hot peppers from seeds for the last 20 years, I have never had such a horrible germination rate. I ended up buying plants for most of the peppers I wanted to grow this year and I'll harvest the seeds from them for next year. You might end up with a great pack of seeds, I know I sure didn't and I won't be buying from this seller again.
