Works like it is supposed to ..

It's spotty with giving the initial reading

It was very accurate for what we it for. Our house was damaged during the hurricane and we used it to test drywall for water.

i worked with this moisture meter for about a year, and got inconsistent readings, despite rereading the manual, and changing the mode several times. after a You Tube recommendation, i ordered a General moisture meter which is much more accurate.

I opened the package inserted a battery one light came on for 15 seconds, then dimmed. I changed to a new battery and got the same results. There's no choice of returning the never working device.

Accurate and easy to handle

Even though it says for sheet rock there are no readings given for sheet rock or gypsum. I wrote the seller but they never responded
