Comfort is our primary concern! We worked hard to get the most comfortable diaper for your baby while still holding in all the poos! To get that comfortable feel, we have made the legs adjustable from the inside out. We did away with messy looking, fiddle-some rise snaps on the outside of the diaper. Instead, we have replaced them with a drawstring like internal leg elastic system that works like magic! SoftBums recommends prepping your diapers by pre-washing them in hot with cloth diaper safe detergent before using. Bamboo fibers may need to be pre-washed 10 times before you stop seeing leaks. We also recommend changing baby frequently when your diapers are new to avoid leaks. Choose your shell echo: this is the trimmest diaper out there. (it's called echo because it will be the first one your grab for when it's clean, and you'll keep wanting to use it over and over and over) Omni: the do everything diaper! You can use this during the day on a baby 8lbs and over, and it has a bit of a fuller cut to it so it will fit older toddler’s better, and chunky babies better too. This is also the best choice for night time diapering. Next choose your absorbent pod: dry touch: these have an amazingly soft fleece on the top layer which we have specially milled. It helps keep baby feeling dry, plus never stains. Natural bamboo: true to their name, they are the most natural choice. In addition to being more breathable, they are butter soft, and trimmer and more absorbent than the dry touch. They are pricier, but so worth every penny.

Diaper always wet :(
I want to love this diaper because it's so convenient to fit and use, but it gets soaked way to easily. Makes me think it's outer layer is not actually water proof. I keep trying it with different inserts to see if anything makes a difference, but sadly no. Always ends up wet. I have 3 and this happens with all 3. Baby is currently 8 weeks, we've been using for 7 weeks.

The best cloth diaper system!
We love everything about these, but especially the adjustability. The Slide-2-Size is great for a skinny newborn (which we had) or a chunky six-month-old (which we also had). The cover is cozy inside, has lots of different snap-in pod options, and dries quickly.

Echo diapers work on newborns and up! Use Omni for heavy wetters!
First, for reviews with leaking issues or wetness on the outside of the diaper, please be sure to seal it after prepping it by drying it on high in your dryer for 15 minutes. Most cloth diapers except TPU ones (instead of PUL) require this!As for the diaper, the hook & loop is nice and strong. I have a couple used diapers that are just starting to have their Velcro wear out after being in constant use for roughly 4 years. My own Velcro that I've washed every other day for nearly 6 months is still like new and so is the elastic. The only clearly aged part of the diaper is the fleece inside is less fluffy and soft. The fit is incredibly trim! Attached is a photo of my super skinny (about 7 lbs) and very tall (23 inches) son in an echo with hook & loop. You can use these cloth diapers under normal baby pants and onesies without issue. The adjustable elastics are great for fitting a baby as a newborn all the way up to my now very chubby son! I know people potty training nearly 3 year olds who are just getting to the point where their echos don't quite fit anymore. As far as cons go, this diaper is not for a heavy wetter. I suggest trying the Omni instead. My son pees an unusually large amount (and eats a ton too!), so the echo wasn't able to hold enough stuffing fluff for us at nights anymore and gradually not days either. This is definitely the exception to the rule, and most kids won't pee over 8 oz in a 30 minute window, so the echo stuffed with a natural fiber insert like bamboo or hemp will be plenty absorbent for most people. If you run into any sizing questions, I definitely recommend checking out the Facebook group for Softbums fans. They were incredibly helpful to me when I was trying to figure out the basics of using cloth diapers.

Trim and Adjustable
These fit so well on our daughter! They fit when she was 10 weeks and now that she is over a year! The adjustable leg elastic is really like nothing else! They are super trim also and don't make her bum too bulky for pants!
