Bees-Wax, 7.5 Ounce

My hair texture is tight curls and I have afrocentric hair and a lot of it ;) I am proud of my natural hair texture and I am always out there trying to find what works for me and with this product I've stopped looking. I have a lot of allergies and my scalp is so sensitive and this is the only product that works for me. It doesn't have shea butter or coco butter or coconut and best of all it doesn't contain any soy products either. It provides great moisture to your hair without being overly greasy. Plus this provides some body to your hair and the product is so light but with a strong enough hold to keep my hairstyle looking fresh all day. I recommend applying this product to wet hair just out of the shower.

It smells really good, I use it as a moisturizer for dry hands.

Torn between 2 or 4 stars. While I would personally give it 2 stars since it does not fit my needs, others may find it perfect. What it will NOT do is HOLD dreadlocks. It will offer some smoothing of dry dreads, maybe some styling, but it will NOT hold fly-aways or loose hairs, or new growth in the root of another dread. It's just not very thick at all. It smells fine, it conditions and styles fine, it keeps things looking neat...but if you want something that holds, go for the Murray's.

I've tried and loved so many of Dax's products but this one here...is so amazing and woefully underrated. It is somewhat falsely advertised tho, it's not pure beeswax, it's just grease with some beeswax in it, but that still doesn't stop this from being one stellar product. It also has royal jelly which I think is why it has such a natural floral sweet smell that's not overpowering, nor does it seem artificial. It also has great hold for twists, it's just thick enough but also light too. I just love this stuff, it's now my favorite Dax product.

Its holds well. Not the best smell. Heavy petroleum smell. Pretty oily

Everyone with a sensitive/itchy head this is for you. I do my husband's hair all the time. We have tried countless products. All are busts, with him itchy or flaky after being done one to two days... I did his hair TWO WEEKS ago with DAX. 1. Still looks fresh. 2. Not one complaint about it itching and zero flakes. Dax smells pleasant and went on smooth. 10/10 will order more.

Thick and holds great! Oh did I mention the shine!

I gave this a go yesterday morning, and was pleasantly surprised. For a start, it is a huge tub, and will likely last for ages (probably about 3-4x the amount of a normal Dax tin). In consistency it is very similar to Dax green and gold (which I also really like), perhaps unsurprisingly as I believe that is based on bee's wax as well. This is a bit looser though, with a touch more shine, and a really nice smell of honey! So, with my new Acqua Di Parma fig spray, I now smell like honey and figs! Choice. It only cost a few quid, and it's well worth a try. So give it a go!
