I bought half a dozen of these for family and friends, and I'd do it again. The molds are rubber. It's more difficult to fill than I imagined it would be. I get water between the forms and water on top. If I dump off the water on top, water comes out of the ball forms. I try to plug the holes with my fingers but it's tricky. I bought 60cc syringes and thought I could put water directly into the ball forms without getting it elsewhere, but water still gets between the molds. You can, however, either crack off excess ice or run the balls under water to do this. I find it a chore to get the molds off, but the end result is worth the effort.

These work good and the ice balls look cool in a drink - especially if you use bottled water. But, unless you buy a lot of trays, it takes awhile to make enough ice to really make it worth the trouble using.

Great product - freeze them slowly to make them clear
Work as intended. Note: if you want the ice to be totally clear you have to freeze them at a very slow rate. This can be accomplished by placing the ice ball maker mold in a small cooler that you then place in the freezer. This will slow the freeze process down enough to let the air escape that normally gets trapped in the ice.

Does its job! I'd recommend this product for sure! It takes a little work to make them look and shaped exactly like you want but even if it's not perfectly made still does what you want it too. Overall good product.

I think its the best one of all of them.
It's not perfect but nothing is these days. Besides, once its in your class you won't notice any imperfections. I like it and would recommend to friends.

The ice cube maker is ok. I don't think the cubes last any longer than ice. I did not get the free e book and I saw no reference on how to down load it.
