I love this gold leaf paint! It is the only gold leaf paint to buy, seriously!Because...It is not "sheer." It is a proper gold leaf paint! If you want a sheer paint then dash out to Walgreens and buy some nail polish. This is not that.It is luminous, with tones, depths, and vibrance that you will not find in any other (forgive me, pretend) "gold" or "gold leaf" paint. Acrylics are completely different. Again, if that is what you are going for, this beauty is not it.Yes, you will have to use paint thinner (or nail polish remover, but that is between us) to clean your brushes. It is well worth it.Yes, you will have to mix, mix, mix it. And halfway through the bottle, you will have to do it again. It is, again, well worth it (otherwise, it separates, and you do not want that).Trust me. I have tried the others. Learn from me. This is the best.

I was using this paint for years now and used to buy from Hobby Lobby. They don't carry it anymore. I was desperate to get this paint, as I do a lot of projects using this paint. After reading reviews on Amazon I was scared to order one , because there were a lot of reviews saying they got more bronze gold, even if they ordered bright gold. I came across this problem when I was buying this paint from Hobby Lobby. Even though # on the bottle says 6110, colors sometimes were darker. In the store you have an option to see and compare color with your old used bottle to make sure you getting same color. On Amazon you do not have that option, and this item is not returnable and costs way more that I used to pay for it. Happy to say I got my paint bottle today and it was the perfect bright gold color. It was intact without a leak. I am really happy!!!

This paint is easy to use - just paint it on. It looks bright and pretty on my ivory antique mirror. It is not overly bright. It looks like real gold on my mirror. It does not look cheap or dull. It looks just beautiful. I used it on the wood and metal accents.

This is the best metallic, gold paint ever! I needed it for painting oyster shells. I honestly assumed it would take several coats to obtain the coverage I wanted. However, it has amazing coverage (one coat) and looks like real gold. I wasn't thrilled with the price but now that I've used it and seen how far you can stretch this tiny bottle of paint, I think the price is fair. Just know going in that this is not soap and water clean-up. You'll need acetone or paint thinner to clean your brushes. I've just kept a small amount of acetone in a little jar with a secure lid and have been able to use it again and again. It may actually be easier than cleaning up after using acrylic paint. I'll never buy another brand.

The media could not be loaded. I used this for beautiful gold accents on a bench I refinished. Loved the way it looked! So easy and smooth to apply. Truly fits its name “liquid Gold”

The color is not look like classic gold leaf. It is much darker. Had to request a refund
